Well they say life is full of choices but for how i see things if you step out of the line you probably get much more chances to be the first one eaten by the big bad wolf This just in case you don't have the stamina to become a big bad wolf

... returns home with outstanding photographs of the even more outstanding Icelandic nature.

That morning was so incredibly cold that most of the time I was blinded by tears behind goggles and could not breathe behind the scarf wrapped around my face and yet, we had to stay and get these shots seeing that these two guys were braving the weather and getting incredible images of that storm having the surf throwing back all those ice floes onto the black volcanic beach.

Getting close to sunset and surfers were still out there. Got to admire their stamina. Seen on a sunset walk above St Kilda Beach, Dunedin. Have a good weekend.

Swiftcurrent Trail winds through the evergreens in the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. If your boots are sturdy, your stamina is good, and your will is strong, a land of lakes, high peaks, and meadows will be your reward.

As part of my rehabilitation, I have to walk several times a day with my walker. Up until relatively recently, I could only make it to the end of the street and back. I am now building up stamina and can do the “big block” most of the time quite well.

On these walks, I noticed a pair of young magpies pottering about in the local streets. I began chatting to them and then decided to bring some food with me. They started to recognise the crazy lady with the bright red walker would fly down to me.

I named them Remmy and Claire.

Remmy is the bravest and comes down straight away. Claire is shy, hangs back but eventually comes over. They have been my biggest reason for ensuring I do these walks. I worry they will be looking for me if I don’t go. One day, I didn’t see them on my walk but found them waiting for me at my letterbox. A few days later, I heard them chortling and found them in my bird bath in the front yard. I heard them again yesterday and they were calling for me on the antenna on the house across the road. I called Remmy and he flew straight over and landed in front of me, waiting for some goodies.

The Sherpa teased me for naming them but now they know their names.

This morning, I went into the backyard as I thought I heard their musical warbling off in the distance. I couldn’t see them. I started calling out “Remmy”, sheepishly at first as I was abit embarrassed realising how ridiculous it seemed and then, out of nowhere, he came and landed near me in the backyard. Clair joined him not long after. The image is of Remmy, coming right up to me after he flew down this morning.

Maybe it sounds silly but I feel like these birds have come along to help me heal and have become an important part of my journey.

Since Merlin lost his spleen, it´s been a tough time for him to gain back strength and stamina...

He´s such a fighter!

To see him running back and forth while ascending these beautiful Austrian mountains is priceless.

To watch him happy, but almost falling asleep, crushing the summit (in this case of Mount Rinsennock 2334m/Carinthia) really touches our hearts <3

Have a lovely loving evening, stay safe and enjoy youtu.be/drsMyeXzLSo , dear flickr friends =)))

As I was taking pictures of our tulips recently, I struggled with finding an interesting background. Hence, I've tried other compositions like this one, where I like the softness of the petals which is a result of focusing onto the stamina. I hope you like it and I wish everyone a great Sunday!

You can accomplish by kindness what you cannot by force. Pubilius Syrus

Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough.

Franklin D. Roosevelt

A little thought and a little kindness are often worth more than a great deal of money.

Kindness is like snow- It beautifies everything it covers. Kahlil Gibran

Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

This weeks Macro Mondays theme is Summer Olympics sports.

Goals and outcomes. When I think of the Summer Olympics, these two words come to mind.

Athletes from all over the world come together once every four years to compete in these games, and all of them have goals. Whether those goals are to win a medal, represent their country with a display of good sportsmanship, or to achieve a personal best in their event, these athletes have put in many hours and even years to try and achieve these goals.

At the end of the competitions, there are outcomes. These outcomes occur based on many factors. Health, weather, concentration, stamina, and even the wind, can play a part in these outcomes.

These two drops are a reminder that some of the summer olympic sports were held in less than ideal environments, and may have affected some outcomes.

I would think that the goal of the pool caretakers would be to have pools filled with crystal clear water. Due to some algae, two of the event pools turned green.

Algae 2, pool caretakers 0.

HMM.

Bald Cypress trees can live to be over 600 years old.

The Atchafalaya Basin in South Louisiana contains a multitude of these who've weathered & withstood countless and treacherous hurricanes over the years......

The fact that this gnarly old Bald Cypress still stands bare, all alone, and without protection surely reveals its tenacity, stamina & endurance......

No doubt it’s seen many, many moons pass over…..like the waning crescent in the background. Hopefully it’ll see decades more…..

Thank Y'all for the continued visits and wonderful comments.....

Such a pleasure to hear from so many wonderful & talented folks both near and afar.

I hope your Sunday is as blessed as mine was that day.
