As a lifelong vegetarian, Brian was overjoyed when his local takeaway started doing vegetarian kebabs - brilliant for when he gets the munchies after a party night out with his pals.
For Macro Mondays theme 'Sharp'. The vegetables were skewered onto a cocktail stick for Brian to enjoy - his shell is just under 1 cm long.
No snails were harmed in the making of this photograph - and they greatly appreciated this kebab after the photoshoot. Asparagus and tomatoes are some of their favourites, but they also love cucumber and carrots.
I have posted photos of Fynn with his lemon grass before but he really loves it and today the lemon grass was the only reason why he went out in the garden for a few minutes despite the current heat. And it's always a good possibility to take a photo for Tongue Tuesday. HTT ! :)
"Looking close... on Friday!" #ASingleBladeOfGrass
Pas de montage ici, juste jeté un brin d'herbe sur la toile d'araignée, et il est resté coincé au delà de mes espérances.
No editing here, just threw a blade of grass on the spider web, and it got stuck beyond my expectations đ
If I were looking for a vegetarian restaurant in Chinatown, I'd be hard pressed to go with the Lucky Creation Vegetarian Restaurant. I have a picture in my mind of walking through the kitchen and seeing the chef's laundry boiling on the stove. Maybe that's how they spruce up the flavor in those vegetarian dishes--laundry broth.

I couldn't tell you the name of half of what's on this platter. There is the basmati; the jalebi; and a samosa. I know one thing for certain, I can't finish this on my own. I'm willing to share with good company.
Gods and shrines from the many local Chinese temples are processed through town on several occasions. Devotees demonstrate their commitment through feats of endurance and suffering, supposedly without feeling pain whilst being under the procection of the gods.
Piercing with needles, skewers and swords is most common traditionally, but nowadays some objects chosen for piercing through the cheeks are far more extreme.

My parrot sometimes eats pizza with bacon, smoke salmon on canapé, or something like that but most of the parrots feed on seeds, flowers, grass, and nectar.

This time I choose vegetarian food which is contain tofu and mix salad with spicy nut sauce
Maybe it is seaweed salad before the fish entree. The mate will be pretty angry if this bird returns thinking this is dinner.
I finally got a photo of an osprey dropping in for the kill and it was after a pile of seaweed. It picked it up and flew out of sight. I assume it was nesting material.
... a choice of Pizza around here in town, loaded with meat! đ
but this is at Valia Kalda's Butcher shop in Varvakios market with fresh certified Greek meats from all over Greece.
Athensâ Varvakios Municipal Market is a Food Shopperâs Paradise. Once the place where every Athenian came to shop, the Varvakios Market has changed since the 1960s, but itâs still a vibrant hub of authentic city life.
The main part of the Varvakios Market is located inside one large structure laid out like a horseshoe, with left, right and rear corridors lined with meat and poultry sellers and a seafood market smack in the middle.

One of the two bento boxes that I bought at Anime Weekend Atlanta. I've never seen bentos for sale at an anime convention before and I just had to have them!! I didn't have much in the way of food to put in them at the time so they are rather plain, these were our lunches at the convention on Saturday.
