The Floyd Veterans Memorial Building has received a new addition to the Korean War display located on the plaza level. The family of General Raymond G. Davis donated a portrait and shadowbox containing Gen. Davis's Medal of Honor, amongst some of his other military decorations. Gen. Davis was a United States Marine Corps four-star general who served during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He rose to the rank of Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps. President Harry Truman presented Gen. Davis with a Congressional Medal of Honor in 1952 for his role in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. .
