I expect this would be called a weed. But the plant produced lots of wind-ready fruit, and it looked elegant, for a weed.

This was taken on the same day as the previous post. Heavy rains earlier in the day made for a long lasting colorful sunset and a low fog.
A bird that visits my yard. This birds show up off and on at least once or twice a weeks. First seen in November, 2020.
Taken on the way back from Abraham Lake a few hours ago... I went total tourist on this and slammed my brakes without signaling... However... I'm mindful of what goes on around me and Highway 11 was totally dead haha.

Just before sunset of the Marin side of the Golden Gate Bridge. Definitely worth the ride over the bridge. While waiting for the actual sunset, I ended up with some slightly unexpected lens flare.

This is one of my all time favourite shots.
Clearwater County. This is wedged in between both Jasper and Banff National Parks by the Saskatchewan River Crossing... This is not actually within a national park however.
provides wildlife with shelter and food and a corridor for travel...harbors wildlife that helps farmers with insect control...a variety of plants grow here that lure and support pollinators

County seat of Pulaski County Illinois. Built in 1912, damaged by the flood of 1937. Still serves as the administrative headquarters of Pulaski County.
