Last October I took my youngest grandson to the LEGO Interactive Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum. The children were allowed to build something to go under the tree and place it there.

Many thanks for your visits, kind comments and faves, very much appreciated.

I'm trying to experiment with colours. Not very brave so far but I'm happy.

The harbor master usually sits in his chair by his house. Now and then he scans the horizon with his telescope. He has spotted an incoming ship and gets ready with his ship hook.

His daughter and assistant is trying to get rid of a rodent.

Built for the Swebrick Community Build Aetheria.

A couple months back, Simon and myself decided we wanted to do some sort of collaboration for BrickCon, even though I wasn't able to attend.

What you see here is the result. Fond memories of reading Calvin and Hobbes growing up for both of us made it an easy choice for what to do!

Hope you guys enjoy!

Soldiers vs.Terrorists

Needs D Tan hands but whatever. Based on Michael's awesome figs.

¿Quien no ha jugado alguna vez con el archi famoso Lego?

The Mobile Medical Unit is like a space ambulance/ER. Comes complete with two operating/recovery tables and all the supplies needed to stabilize patients before their extraction. Huge sensor array guides the MMU with uplink to the carrier vessel for increased guidance.

I'm thinking I can get this a bit closer at this scale...

Definitely my favourite MOC. :3

I updated my old one a bit 'cos (Hopefully) this will go on display at Brickworld!

Possibly my fav craft I've ever built: the Firefly.

It's been to Chicago, Virginia, Toronto, and Seattle. The next stop can be your home!

Still time to buy and donate!

FebRovery Day 7

M:Tron Speeder bike was one of the most popular vehicles to zip around.

Apparently I lack an M:Tron minifig, so I made one as best as I could.

I did the Lego thing...because it's January...

Please ignore the ludicrously stubby arms.

I have a few things from my backlog to post as well as some more drone-y goodness coming soon, so keep an eye out!

Enjoy!

Just a couple figbarfs that I made with some of my favorite eclipsegrafx, brickarms, and minifigcat parts! Like I said, I can't post any creations because I'm moving, but plenty of figs to come!

I recently read William Gibson's Virtual Light and tried to make one of the futuristic, lightweight bicycles that are described in the novel. It didn't really work out, so I just made some Akira-type motorcycles instead.

"Sorry I'm late, I was saving the world. You know how it is."

I really wanted to make my own Ant-Man figure and knowing how good the movie was it was a joy to make this figure. And I also did want to try and do my best on an accurate Ant-Man helmet.

For the helmet it's LEGO's Ant-Man helmet and I used paper clips and glued them onto the helmet, there was also some green stuff I used on the front but the round part is from a sanded lever piece. I also have to say bending those paper clips was a bitch to do. For everything else, not really worth talking about to be honest it's basically all painted by me except for the parts that are obviously LEGO's official Ant-Man minifigure.

What do you think!?

I'm getting there. This needs a bit of a tidy up but I'm happy with the general shape.

Door idea from Project Azazel :D ( I tried so many different options for the doors, but ultimately this was the only one I could get to work like an official set might. Ideally I'd be using those double sided doors but they don't come in black as far as I'm aware.

Straight out of a fairytale.

My third and last entry for the Summer Joust.

Category is "Tri-color", which allows only three colours to be used in a build, excluding Minifigures, accessories and animals.

Magenta - Pearl Gold - Dark Brown

I found this category to be pretty interesting and challenging at the same time. Choosing the colours turned out to be a tough choice, but the mutli-coloured Turban Pin, which comes in Pearl Gold with Magenta gave the inspiration in the end to go with this royal colour scheme.

Every night, when I get up to get a glass of water, I find the Janitor quietly mopping all the floors and cleaning all the sidewalks in Lynn's LEGO City. I'm thinking of buying more of this minifig and placing them all around the house. Then maybe all my floors will be clean in the morning? :-)

Until a red boomerang piece comes out to replace the red hands this is about as close as I can get.

Enjoy :)

A build inspired by the beautiful LEGO Ideas GWP Flying Moon Car. A retro style Moon House that turned out very different from what I initially envisioned, but I had to work with the colors and parts available in my inventory.

Macro Monday entry for July 11, 2022 - "Four"

Backlit white lego plate with four colored translucent single round studs capped with a matching color single round tile; red, yellow, green, and blue.

Backlight is the light from an iPhone 12

Camera is a Sony a7R III connected to a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM via a Sigma MC-11 mount converter

So as promise (from October), here he is, the Phantom Virus. Originally started as a contest entry into J\'s Customs Scooby Doo contest, but took too long to make. Head is my first every proper sculpt using fimo. A really weird and difficult figure to make, due to his non-minifig proportions. Legs are extended with two tiles to give him extra hight. Hes still not tall enough/head oversized.

I don\'t even know....

Well, let me know what you think on my weirdest custom to date. J's Customs , I hope the wait was worth while lol
