112. Clancy, 3yrs (on Nov 16)
Today we're back to cruisin' the Mer Bleue Conservation Area.
Two weeks ago I (Clancy) contracted an eye infection that after treatment returned to take over both eyes about five days ago. It's pretty well cleared up now, but there remains still some puffiness and discoloration.
News Flash: It's my third birthday on Monday, so we'll be posting something then instead of Throwback Tuesday.

I'm sure you are all dying to know what is happening with my pumpkin ! It is still in a pretty good shape... and we got some fresh snow yesterday...
After my incapacity benefit was stopped earlier this year (despite the fact that I really am ill and I'm getting worse) I decided to appeal. Today was the day of the tribunal and this time the doctor actually listened to me (the last one didn't even seem to be in the same room as me after I read the report) and I won my appeal, yay! Goes to show that there is justice out there sometimes.

Such exciting news! I entered two series in this year's Prix de la Photographie Paris and they both won medals. The first is a series of images from Antarctica called the The Colour of Ice, which won a Gold medal in Fine Art/Landscape (Non-professional). The second is a series of images from North Dakota and Manitoba called Winter Fields which won a Bronze medal in the Nature/Seasons (Non-professional) category. I'm beyond thrilled! Congratulations to all the winners - the images are superb!
Thank you to all of you, too. I first started posting my pictures on Flickr over 10 years ago and the support and friends I've found on here has been amazing. Thank you for being such a great community in which to share photographs.

Dating back to the 12th century some of the ground arches are in need of renovation.
Sad news in the Peregrine World...Joli the resident female from the Logan site was found dead Oct 18th. 2017 of unknown cause ?
As humans we should not become attached but it's hard not too...she was hands down my favourite Peregrine to photograph.
2012 Joli was with Cowboy (Brandon hatch 2000)
2014-2017 with Hart (Radisson hatch 2012)
Along with her mates they produced 19 chicks...6 females and 13 males.
Joli will be missed.
I woke early this morning to the sombre news that Queen Elizabeth II had died. While I won't call myself a rabid monarchist I am saddened by her passing. My mother was born in the same year and used to measure her health and fitness against the Queen, until Mum's death 7 years ago.
The Queen's idea of service, duty and faith was an inspiration to many. RIP QE II.
In a time of massive change in the world this is one that the UK and the Commonwealth will have navigate.
Long live the king!
Okay so things said in my formspring
weren't what i expected at all.
and i'm disappointed that people would
say things so hurtful. When photography
is a dream of mine even tho im not as
good as others. I really dont know much
about photography yet tell i take classes.
And i know i can do better.
i put in comments the things that were said. At this point i feel like just quitting
flickr all together. I am deleting alot
of images as well. and dont except images any time soon!

is i dont have no one else to take pics of like all you guys have your own damn models.

On Sunday afternoon a building which held the Appliance Service Center, A & B Pawn Shop and the Christ Fellowship Worship Center was destroied by a fire. The building which is located on Lowell Road near Cox Road in Ranlo caused traffic to be rerouted and train service to be stopped as firemen from all over the county fought the fire for hours. Here, firefighters retreat from their position on the roof as flames shoot out from the front of the Appliance Service Center.
