- c'est à l'endroit précis où le ciel tombe dans l'eau

- là-bas, à l'horizon, tu vois ?

- C'est bien ainsi. De la sorte, tu peux imaginer cette ligne, la dessiner comme tu veux, où tu veux......ou ne pas en mettre du tout, penser qu'elle n'existe pas et que la finitude n'est qu'une construction de l'esprit humain, un cadre dont il entoure sa vie pour palier l'angoisse du vide.
et aussi la chaleur du soleil, le sable et les aiguilles de pin sous les pieds.

Went to the Veterans clinic in Temple on Monday. They wanted to do another biopsy on my prostate. They always seems to have to do everything twice. Drives me crazy. Gotta tell ya, that's a long 2 hour drive back. I had to stop halfway for some Tylenol. Seems like it hurt more this time.
Anyway, the Rock Stacking Festival is this coming weekend. I volunteered again. Hope the weathers nice
The Isola San Giorgio Maggiore has always intrigued me. It is definitely one of the iconic sights to see in Venice. The island has been occupied since 829 and the church, with its bell tower, was built in 1566. This was taken one morning as the sun began to rise over the beautiful historic city!!
I continue to be busy trying to lend support to a Presidential candidate here in the USA and getting ready for a new trip to India. Southern India will be my destination this time. I miss my daily contact with every one, but probably won't be back on schedule until sometime in March! I continue to appreciate your support and encouragement!!!

Owyhee Reservoir is a 53-mile-long lake, filling a narrow, deep canyon brimming with colorful volcanic rock formations. Many boaters return each year to explore the desert canyon and rugged mountains. Some of the geology is visible only by boat. Anglers are awarded excellent warm water catches, especially largemouth bass, white and black crappie. The reservoir also has catfish and is occasionally stocked with rainbow trout.
The watershed of the river was part of region inhabited by the Shoshone and Bannock Native Americans. The name of the river is from the older spelling of “Hawaii." It was named for three Hawaiian trappers, in the employ of the North West Company, who were sent to explore the uncharted river. They failed to return to the rendezvous near the Boise River and were never seen again. Due to this the river and its region were named "Owyhee".
There are two campgrounds close to each other and they have "rustic" cabins for rent. The wild flowers were bloom, when we arrived. Here you can see the balsamroot flowers lining the edge of the lake.

Unsere Übernachtung befindet sich in 1300m Höhe und wir haben direkt diesen beeindruckenden Blick in die Ferne, leider die ganze Zeit ohne klare Sicht.
Den nächsten Tag sind wir dann durch die beeindruckende Felsenlandschasft gewandert.

I hadn't been to Strasbourg before, but I must go back. Today I had a quick 30 minutes run around between trains. Too hot really, but I wanted to see it.

Мы постепенно двигались в сторону основной точки съемки, до рассвета оставался примерно час. Туман продолжал сгущаться и на сильном морозе мы целиком покрылись инеем. Ярко светила полная луна, на рассвете она стала оранжевой. Все это создавало отличные условия для съемки. Времени было полно и мы особо не торопились, фотографировали всякое. Это один из таких снимков, ничего особенного, просто туманный рассвет.
We gradually moved towards the main shooting point, about an hour remained until dawn. The fog continued to thicken and in the bitter cold we were completely covered with frost. The full moon shone brightly, turning orange at dawn. All this created excellent conditions for shooting. There was plenty of time and we were not particularly in a hurry, taking pictures of everything. This is one of those shots, nothing special, just a hazy sunrise.
