Roughly translated as "waterfall of the gods", Goðafoss is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. The water of the river Skjálfandafljót falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters. Truly remarkable!
Traditional house in Reine. Reine is a fishing village and the administrative centre of the municipality of Moskenes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago, above the Arctic Circle, about 300 kilometres southwest of the town of Tromsø.
This male and immature posed nicely together for a fraction of a second! Thanks again to Pete Whieldon for another excellent session.
Remembering summer... and wishing it would hurry up and BE here, at least spring ! I hope you like my painting of this little sprig I pulled up from between our patio paving :) Yes, from the archives, but I painted it because I like it and it seems appropriate for this time in my and my family's lives.

I used Topaz Impression 2 for this effect. A Georgia O'Keefe setting at ... I can't remember how much opacity but a fine circular brush setting.

The main street of this tiny little town (or should it be called a village?). The municipality of Nogarole Rocca has circa 3800 inhabitants (in 2020). The church is the church of San Lorenzo Martire (St Lawrence the Martyr in English), built in the Neoclassical style in 1729-1755 - but not consecrated until 1770.

Se acaba el dia en el puerto y enpieza una jornada de pesca al llegar la pleamar. Un bonito momento para pescar y hablar con los amigos.

Una leyenda urbana asegura que Walt Disney se inspiró en el Alcázar de Segovia para sus castillos de cuentos de hadas, y Orson Welles lo utilizó como decorado de Mr Arkadin.
Fortaleza guerrera y cortesana, erigida a partir de los siglos XII y XIII sobre un espigón rocoso que domina los valles del Eresma y del Clamores, los siglos y un incendio en 1862 lo convirtieron en la pintona construcción actual.
Para descubrirlo en todo su mágico esplendor hay que llegar a Segovia por la carretera de Zamarramala. Al atardecer y si es en otoño mucho mejor.
