A random ZIA - 3 different versions

tfl :)

This one was done a while ago, but I hadn't posted it

Wow this was such a real challenge for me! ... My thumb, hand & wrist still ache! ... I did'nt know if I would or could participate in this challenge ... It was like being back in therapy for me ... 3 yrs. ago I had a series of strokes, which left me in pretty bad shape for awhile ... could'nt speak for two months & when I tryed no one could understand me ... had to do alot of different therapies to get back to where I am today ... at first I was kind of cranky about doing this one, but then thought it over & decided to tough it out & I'm glad I did because it reminded me once again how lucky I am to still be here, still able to live my life, love my family & friends ( all of my wonderful new friends here at Flickr) and I can still do my Art ... So even tho this is bad, ... hey I can still do it, even with my left hand!!! ... Feeling greatful, big smile :) .... WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR KIND , SWEET WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT ... I STILL STRUGGLE A LITTLE EVERYDAY... BUT I'M STILL HERE & ABLE TO DO MY ART ... ENJOY YOUR ART & FRIENDSHIP, IT'S WONDERFUL TO BE HERE, THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!

Weekly Challenge #100! "New tangles and a Diva Dance"

This week marks the 100th 'I am the Diva Weekly Challenge' - Congrats Laura! A fantastic achievement!

3 new tangles this week -

the waltz

the foxtrot

rock 'n roll

combined called Diva Dance

This is my first try at the tangles and it wasn't until I finished that I worked out what I was supposed to do! lol here, I've used Rock 'n Roll in the centre and the Waltz in the outer sections.

thanks for looking :)

My first attempt at Zendoodling / 7,5 cm x 10 cm

Sadly these are the only images I have of my little Moleskine notebook, which I carelessly left in the back of the seat in front of me on a day out when we were in Malaysia earlier this year. My Name and address were in the front, but it's never come home. So sad. I've barely tangled since then. Time, as much as anything, but I almost feel like I'm looking out the window for a long-gone friend, expecting them to walk up the pathway....

How daft is that!?!!

I'm sure I'll get my act together soon and get tangling again. :@)

I found this week's dare quite a challenge as we could only choose tangles beginning with the letters 'P' 'I' and 'E', with a bit of a twist, one of the tangles were to be ones we haven't used before. Not as easy as it seems.

This one is very simple as I was limited to tangles I've not used before :)

Thanks for looking, comments always welcome! :))

Tangles used: Pinwheels (not used before), In a Pod and Echoism

I love this art form. :o) I'd love to know if you're into it or are interested in starting!

This week was to use the pattern 'Indy-Rella'.

Well, I actually thought I was too late to post this one - it's just about the end of Thursday - I can see the link is still open :) cool!

hmmm.... not too keen on this pattern. I wanted to do something besides a flower with this tangle - it turned out to be a bit of a mosh posh - here it is.

To add some interest I added some texture via photo editor.

thanks for looking :)

a classic square. i sort of un-vented (re-invented in knitter speak) my very own tangle based on a photo i saw on the zentangle blog. its those circles within circles within circles near the top.

Every spare minute I just love to tangle. I started this on my lunchbreak today. When I got home I 'incorrectly' chose to add 'Laced" which caused a standstill as I didn't know where to go from there...I added 'Vertigough' as I felt it was a tangle that would fit in with the piece, a few berries... at this stage it was go for all or nothing. In this case I didn't want to keep filling in the whites as it would have taken on a whole new look and I wanted the focus to be on the flower and leaves..... so my friends here is the end product. As you can see I added some colour with watercolour pencils I haven't used before. Just some cheapies and felt like chalk..... I'm quite happy with the result... thanks for looking. I've also taken a pic before I coloured in. thank you

inkjet print of an original artwork coloured with my new Sakura Glaze pens.

Used my "multi-pen stippling" method on this project.

This is a great one for me. Also, "Procrastination is the Thief of Time".

Whilst I was trying to get rid of the glare by adjusting the colour, I mistakenly added more highlights (I think) and so this special effect was born.

The tangle at the bottom and top left is called 'Potted Plant by Texasdoxiemama (Linda Rea) - thank you Linda - this one is cool! :))

A tangle using a pattern (on the left) inspired by a UPC code -- I call it Yupici.

Wanted to make something that looked like woven ribbons with each ribbon with different patterns
