This week Erin ( www.thebrightowl.com ) has asked that we fill the template with one/some of our favourite tangles, the ones that make us 'the artists that we are.
I love Nzeppel, its one of my go to patterns and I've combined it with another fave Florez. I call the middle bit fillers because many times I like to fill spaces with a leafy pattern and add some interest to it.
Thank you for looking - comments are most welcome.
P.s I'm still trying to keep up with my replies and will get to them shortly :)
Was going through the archives of the Zentangle newsletter and I come across this
archive.constantcontact.com/fs023/1101168872594/archive/1...
Here are my versions; they were going to be black and white and in true Zentangle form, but somewhere along the line, flowers appeared and colours emerged :)
Thank you for looking.
Oh. When I saw Mooka for the first time it was true love. I love zentangle for the simplicity that each step has been broken down into but sometimes things get a bit too linear for a swirly gal like myself. but mooka- curves and dips and swirls. i already grew up on the art of alphonse mucha - my grandmother was a huge fan and did many needlepoints of his work. i love having this flowy tribute to use in future drawings and doodles!
This is a silly little card that came to me after a talk with me son. When I first got sick I was lovingly given the name "Queen Forgets-a-Lot " ! I am the Queen of my own country as well.... It is the land of "I don't Remember " !!! LOL!! So maybe I should call this a self portrait of sorts !! LOL!!! She is done with Micron ,Staedtler Blue and Gelly Roll Pink,Rose, SIlver and Purple pens.
You can download this starter template from our gallery at lineweaving.com/forums.
Print it out - add your doodle marks inside and around the shapes. I'd love to see what you do with it!
I saw a gum tree in flower at the local shopping centre ..... I left my camera at home charging, and I just had to take a small branch home with me.... I think it's exquisitely beautiful!! - captured both outdoors and indoors.
Made this card for my dad. The top is textured cardstock. in moss, over chocolate brown cardstock. I wanted it to be quite simple as to not take away from the '75'. I should have taken a photo before I assembled the card - it's interesting how you see things once you take a snapshot... I now feel that the number '7' is probably too light compared to the number '5'. I don't know, I'm not too sure - I guess its ok. Thanks for looking :)
I made some birthday cards for my twins Rob and Kath and one for my niece Michelle..... I am pleased with the way they turned out :) thanks for looking.
