Had a really hard time deciding which way was up on this one ... think I need more than 4 hrs. sleep for the nite! :)

Cup Inserts -This type of thing makes great personalized stocking stuffer gifts! I did these for my nephews and nieces this year.

** Please don't post these out to Facebook. Wouldn't want to spoil the surprise for anyone!

Created using my October Mandala template and ArtStudio app on my IPad

You can download the template from my blog: rainbowelephant.com starting 2 Oct 2011

A hand doodled post card for one of my postcrossing recipients.

A pen, a piece of paper, some time.

Doodled Card(s) witing for greetings to be stamped inside the window before sending them out to loved ones.

this is one of my earlier works. Originally, it was a loveheart with some lovely words from my partner (who lives overseas) and some 'ligntening bolts' coming out of the heart, on plain cardboard (from some packaging from the look of it). I prettied it up and mailed it back to him. He posted it back to me complete with a love poem on the back - a very special piece indeed!! thanks for looking :)

Step by Step pattern 'X'

was trying to work out a simpler way of drawing my pattern 'X'

what I discovered was it does not have to be in the round and I think it lends itself beautifully to squares or rectangles.

I would love to see your creations :)

Thanks for looking.

Did this one a few days ago and I just could not get the shading right so I asked my daughter who kindly shaded for me. I think she did a fantastic job.... she's a bit worried about being critiqued lol.... I said it's fine :)

Finally found a white gel pen with great opacity! Uniball Signo ... but it was $4.49 and I've used up about half already.

Been really busy the last couple of days. I have finished all my postcards for the swap (15 plus 1 extra for good luck) - we were to use no more than 3 tangles. I loved doing these and the size is just right.

I hope you like them :)

thank you for your visit - your comments are most welcome and very much appreciated :)

Good morning, ... hope it's a beautiful Sunday morning where ever you are & that you are enjoying it doing something that makes you happy! ... Here is my latest ... think I may use it as a coloring page as well as for cards ... 5x5 ... Kuretake writer pen & Prisma .005 fine line marker , shaded with pencil :)

I find that when doing Auranot (official tangle by Maria Thomas), if I like the shape I start with, I really like the finished Zentangle Tile.

Almost all my large compositions are actually uncomposed beforehand. I find that in my stressful life, if I try to compose an overall drawing, the "editor" jumps right in and sabotages the effort. So until the editor gets booted, the approach is to sneak in and just start moving the pen around...
