SN12 AEB is an Alexander Dennis E40D Enviro 400 H45/28F new to First Devon and Cornwall in March 2012. All nine of these were transferred to First Bristol at Hengrove around the end of 2016 and painted with orange fronts on urban livery for service 50. All nine are now in Mendip Xplorer livery at Wells depot where they replaced the 2015 Streetdecks.

Volvo B7RLE / Wright B43F new Jan 2005 at Wells depot , but later at Weston super Mare. In Aug 2015 it was repainted in Badgerline "Big Badger" livery to commemorate 30 years since Badgerline started on 1st January 1986. This version of the yellow and green livery was not introduced until 1991/2. It mainly worked town service 7 whilst at Weston , but has now been transferred back to Wells depot , where all other permanent buses are in the Mendip Xplorer blue livery. It is working into Weston-super-Mare on service 126.
Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse Urban 2 B44F new 10/2009 , at Sandford Church on service 126 from Wells to Weston-super-Mare.
69457 was the first Eclipse 2 to be painted in Mendip Xplorer blue and gold livery ( like the Streetdecks delivered to Wells in 2015 ) and was transferred in Sept 2016 from Bristol to Wells.
Wells now runs two buses on 126 , with the third provided by Weston , which today was SN64CMO - Streetlite 47570 in Olympia livery.
The 126 service is due to be rebranded as the "Strawberry route" with a green livery. Six of the Eclipse 2s at Wells are due to replaced by Enviro E400s and to go to Bath for route 5 , leaving just a couple for the 126 which requires single deckers.
This has not happened , and from Setember 2020 Wells depot has been running double deckers on the 126 - a feat which had previously been thought to be impossible.
69457 has been transferred to Bath and repainted in Bath City blue livery.

A 2-car Xplorer set, running as HP68 from Hurstville to Maintrain (at Auburn) passes Campsie on the down goods line.
The 2-car set was doing crew training runs on the metropolitan goods lines for the New Regional Fleet test crew.
Funnily enough, I planned to use the overpass to frame the lead cab of the train BEFORE it entered the shadow (as the sun was in the western part of the sky at this point), but as I was trying to hold the camera over a fence at the time, the focus went wonky. At f2.8, this was quite noticeable so this was the only composition in focus. Thankfully, I don't mind it!
Train running separately from the Moree to Central service that had run about an hour earlier.. Normal arrangement is amalgamation of the two services at Werris Creek.
Once the Up and Down Xplorer's had cleared the way 5917 got back underway and is seen here just after leaving Muswellbrook on the Main North Line heading full steam ahead for Werris Creek!

Another lightpainting session at the Diamond Bridge with members of the Light Xplorer (good folks they all are), but this time, it was a positive ignition on the engine with close to zero wind detected giving a beautiful steelwool arc overhead a full moon in the background. Oh btw wishing everyone a Happy New Year 2015. Mind the supply box of steelwool in the corner.

WX09 KCK is a Volvo B9TL / Wright H45/29F new to First Bristol in June 2009 . It was transferred from Lawrence Hill to Wells in June 2018 and repainted in Mendip Xplorer livery.
It is leaving Marlborough Street bus station , Bristol on the two hour journey to Bath via Radstock on service 379.
Spent the weekend designing the Xplorer, a train I'm quite familiar with as it operates the rail service between Canberra and Sydney. The nose took a lot of work to get right, but I think it has turned out really well!
On 23rd February 2019 the northbound Xplorer is near Braefield heading towards Werris Creek. At Werris Creek the train will split and the front 3 cars will head to Armidale and the rear 2 will take the northwest line to Moree.

SK65 PWO is a Wright Streetdeck H45/28F new Nov 2015 , one of eight new at Wells depot to replace single deck Volvos on service 376 from Bristol to Street. All eight were in blue and gold livery with Mendip Xplorer branding and First Mendip fleetnames.
They quickly proved unsuitable for the steep climbs over the Mendips , and were transferred to the Bristol fleet in in 2019 and repainted in Urban livery with red or purple fronts.
35163/4 were withdrawn in October 2022 , and 35162 was repainted in blue driver recruitment livery in September 2022. The remaining five were transferred to Weston-super-Mare at the beginning of April 2023 , along with the other remaining 65 reg'd Streetdecks. It is possible that they will receive Badgerline livery.
35167 is in Congresbury on service X1 from Bristol to Weston , still with branding for routes 70 and 71.
