Bath depot acquired two of these Volvo B7TL / Wright Gemini H45/29F new in September 2005 from First Scotland East in January 2019. A few months later they moved to Wells where the blue livery approximates Mendip Xplorer colours , and indeed they have now received Mendip Xplorer fleetnames. 32669 is at Paulton Hospital on sevice 172. I took a burst of four photos but none of them picked up the destination display.

32669 was withdrawn in February 2020 and transferred to Essex , along with similar bus 32673.

At Denistone Railway Station on the T1 - Sydney Trains.

Located on a steep 1 in 40 gradient Denistone Railway Station opened on 26 September 1937 originally with two side platforms. However they were built with provision to be converted to island platforms at a later date. Accordingly, the western platform was converted on 24 October 1978, and the eastern platform on 27 November 1989 when extra lines were opened to cater for freight and fast traffic.

It contains one of Sydney's smaller commuter car-parks and remains virtually unaltered since its opening.

A four-car Xplorer set is substituting for the regular XPT service to/from Dubbo, photographed here passing through Perthville on the Sydney-bound leg.

For an extended period of July 2012, ARTC undertook major trackwork over the Liverpool Ranges in North-Western NSW. This meant that the regular CountryLink services to and from the Northern Tablelands region would be replaced by road coaches from Muswellbrook, freeing up a number of Xplorer cars. This, in turn, allowed a number of Dubbo XPT services to be replaced by Xplorers, allowing the well travelled XPT fleet some rare downtime.

NT31, the overnight Sydney to Brisbane XPT service is seen roaring over the Parramatta River bridge at Meadowbank.

The final trainspotting for 2011 would be spent in good company on the shore of the Parramatta River, at Rhodes. I arrived about 1500 to wait for CA02 loaded coal (Centennial Coal/SSR), and there was plenty of opportunities to shoot other trains in the meantime. Despite the teasing cloud cover, there were plenty of electric trains to take photos of, as well as two XPT's and an Xplorer before the "main event".
