The light streams through the windows on the northern end of the Magdelen College cloisters. The corridors are quiet as the College isn't fully back in business yet after the Summer break.
Tricky shot this - no wide-angle lens so two shots (left and right corridors separately shot as HDR) blended in Photoshop. Plus a variety of maintenance works cropped out of one of the corridors!

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you have a great day full of food, cheer and presents. This is the ninth year that Megan has been our Christmas Card, the whole run can be viewed here - www.eatshootfly.com/ChristmasCard. Enjoy!
Woefully behind on uploads to Flickr lately, so catching up over the next few days with a series of posts. First up are my favourite images from an impromptu shoot with the sublime Sinopa Rin on the South Coast. Had a great location with a balcony overlooking a cricket stadium, would have been a shame to waste the opportunity!

Almost halfway back through the Blisworth Tunnel from Stoke Bruerne northbound. Got some funny looks when I said I'd like to try some photography in the tunnel - I actually meant really at the tunnel entrance/exit, but the light from the front of the boat made for some interesting reflections.

My final shot from the Le Touquet trip with Theresa, Linda and Tom. The maddest 48hrs I think I've ever done and will definitely repeat it, but maybe for more than just the one night! The full gallery is on my website, the shots on Flickr are just my favourites.

Plans for a sunset shoot on the beach quickly went wrong...a HUGE line of thunderstorms were approaching and the sky was flashing while we were experimenting with flash at sea level. Got a couple of good shots, but boy would I have liked more time before we had to sprint through the sand to the car!

The new Sheppey Bridge curves across the River Swale alongside its smaller and older cousin, which is still active - a road and rail bridge no less, with the centre section lifting to allow boats through. Didn't manage to get a good angle of both bridges on this trip.

Colours surround The Tree of Life, from the foliage on the island to the light and the skies as they darken. Not much of a sunset but it worked out OK in the end, so many of the other vantage points I expected to use to catch this shot were closed for refurbishment/development.

A recent discovery for me was this little alleyway in the France pavilion, a small area with some shops and a great look. At night the whole of Paris looks good in Epcot - many hours could have been spent in this pavilion alone shooting every angle that it presents.

I've worked with Emily before, and she happily agreed to work with me again as I ran a Natural Light Workshop in London for some camera club buddies. I only got a few shots because I was a bit busy, and the timings went awry very quickly! Massively pleased with this shot though, Emily is effortlessly beautiful and the Kings Cross Light Tunnel is somewhere I've wanted to shoot a model, would love to return again soon with more time.
