Thought I'd try and get some star trails which perhaps were reflected in the lake. It didn't really work as planned, but got a couple in there. No idea what the two jets were doing, they are approaching us from the south(ish) but never noticed them dog-legging like that. This is about 50mins of star trails, because once more the lens fogged up :(

The new Fantasyland is open for business, although still a large closed off area while the mine train is build. Gaston has his own restaurant now and a fast-food restaurant, and sits high atop another person in the fountain in front of his tavern.

Megan was a bit Yes No Yes No on going on the carousel, but had a good time on it in the end - the loud cackle she's developed was heard many times and she spent the rest of the day saying to everyone who'd listen that she went "up down up down round round" on it!

Just east of Seaford and looking around the cove towards Beachy Head, these cliffs are eroding rapidly but are still a haven to lots of birds. Incredibly noisy with them in fact! The cliff used to make an archway but that has broken away now.

An easyJet A319 returns from Istanbul to Luton, passing over the rolling fields of Hertfordshire - seconds from touching down in Bedfordshire. Fantastic clouds this afternoon, made for HDR.
Held back and scored 19/20 in the Fields competition, November 2012.

The West Pier at Brighton is a Grade I listed building - what is left of it. Built in 1866 the pier closed in 1975 and has been badly damaged by fire and the weather since. This is a 25sec exposure with two ND16, one ND8 and a polarizing filter stacked to give the dreamy water.

Another variation on my tomato-on-fork theme, this time using a mirror on the desk to reflect the white walls in the studio. I like this version possibly more than the grey background, but need to work out how to light it correctly to get the reflection of the tomato right - this one looks a bit ghostly for some reason. Lit with a single constant light above right, and a reflector on the left front as well.

What was once just shingle to a small step outside the front door now looks much more colourful - a sleeper planter along the length of the house, and purple slate at the bottom for colour. New lights have also improved the look a lot!
