RAF Clarkly Hill WWII WT Station.
The original NGR on Canmore is centred on the wrong field, the seven towers were in the field centred on NJ 13576 68564.
There was nothing in that field on the 1st and 2nd Edition OS map and pre-WWII maps.
The station can be clearly seen on the 1946 aerial image. The entrance track and most of the buildings survive though one has been moved.
There is the concrete base at NJ 13783 68480 near the entrance, it was said there was a civilian guard there and fence around the site. The fence seems visible on the 1946 aerial image and is only around the single field.
There is a surviving corrugated iron building at NJ 13722 68484, there appears to be about four concrete covers over a pit of some sort just East of this.
Modern house at NJ 13706 68472.
The wooden hut at NJ 13685 68475 has been moved to that location from NJ 13662 68528 where it was inside the present brick building. There was said to have been a Nissen hut at NJ 13685 68475 and this can seen on the 1946 aerial image.
Small Nissen hut at NJ 13678 68464 which appears to be seen on the 1946 aerial image, also another small building West of it that looks WWII vintage.
The site was built in 1940
Canmore notes a single mast at NJ 1435 6847, this is not very distinct on the 1946 image but wonder if could have been a circular DF tower?

Amtrak P42 117 leads the Southwest Chief west into Naperville, IL with the Phase IV heritage unit and a private car in tow. If it weren't for the 117, we'd have a entire matching trainset.
Why do they make all cards look the same?? Now I cut the wrong card. Arghhhhhh. I will have to wait a whole week to get a new debit card which is super inconvenient. Arghhhhhh.
Of course I am now going to order yet another super-customized distinguishable card again! They make me order those expensive customized cards!

Please don't get me wrong when I say all dogs should be trained outside. Regrettably the winter months make it impossible with the rain, wind and snow, OK some of you brave guys may be saying you have to take the dog out in all weather. This is true but when trainiing outside you need to concentrete. In bad weather it is a lot harder to do. Outside the dogs have more room to feel comfortable, especially if the dog/puppy is nervous. Here you see a little Dachshund doing a recall to the owner in the yellow coat. The guy kneeling down is one of the instructors, notice he has a little GSD. by him, he's teaching the puppy to wait, as are the other students with their dogs.
The big guy in the back ground is ROLAND WARD, you can just make out his labrador, BARNEY. He and Barney came runner up in the, RICHA PREMIER GUNDOG CHALLAGE CUP 2008. This is a great achievement for Roland lives in a tower block, on the 12 floor. Roland runs his own club in the Southgate area, you can reach him by going to his web page.

Not quite. Coulter’s tweet is factually wrong and foolishly composed.
Coulter prides herself on her “fanatical” (her word) research. Perhaps she needs more research and less fanaticism.
