Why do they make all cards look the same?? Now I cut the wrong card. Arghhhhhh. I will have to wait a whole week to get a new debit card which is super inconvenient. Arghhhhhh.
Of course I am now going to order yet another super-customized distinguishable card again! They make me order those expensive customized cards!

Well today started off exciting...our fridge was being delivered. Then it turned into them delivering us a dented fridge (which I heard them talking outside saying to each other whether they should say something or not...they ended up not saying something)..to the fridge being not the size that was stated online or in the store to them not installing it right and/also getting water all over my floor. Needless to say I am pissed. We went down and got another one and hopefully it will be here tomorrow. It isn't what I exactly wanted, but it will work and it was 1/2 a kenner less and was in STOCK..which is good! Needless to say this day sucks and my pain is through the roof. I am so sick of fibromyalgia it isn't even funny. Where is the wine and pain meds??? I know in the grand scheme of life this isn't the worst thing to have happen, but I just want a damn fridge that is not dented and fits my kitchen. Is that too much to ask? Fridge #2 should be here sometime tomorrow. *end rant* thanks.

Got the hips wrong but this was mainly an exercise in Caran d'Ache crayon (wax and water-soluble) on Strathmore Toned Gray sketchbook paper. Yellow and orange seem essential for capturing saffron robes. Will re-visit the original photo for more work on drapery.
Spent some today going through Youtube video clips of shopping malls in Bangkok. The wide streets are not dissimilar to Osaka (or Chatswood Sydney) except for the largeish Buddhist shrines on the footpaths; the malls are otherwise indistinguishable from Westfields here or the underground mall beneath Kyoto Central Railway Station. I'm certain now they are probably only good for a dose of aircon, though I took note of public seating.
Hope to draw people if I visit Bangkok. One weakness in Urban Sketching is the tendency to fly in-fly out of cities and only come away with renditions of iconic postcard views: it's understandable and justifiable. Which is why Bangkok's Attic Studio on a Thursday morning, their "Bangkok Life" events, where it's possible to draw some average workaday Thai people, seems a good idea.

Not quite. Coulter’s tweet is factually wrong and foolishly composed.
Coulter prides herself on her “fanatical” (her word) research. Perhaps she needs more research and less fanaticism.

I am disappointed that I did not take my time with these shots. I barely paused while walking by, I felt a little off I guess. I was in a dress and I could not kneel down to get the shots I wanted here in Pioneer square so I felt limited. Just an excuse for cutting off the guys head.
