One part of Swaton Vintage day was the Russian Egg Roulette. The idea is that each pair of contestants have 6 eggs to choose from and smash them in to their heads. Only one of the 6 eggs is raw, the rest are hard boiled. The person who ends up with the raw egg is deemed to be the looser.
"Come on I'm invisible... oh wait..." Even with the failed camouflage I bet it was able to capture some bees

This was taken shortly before the Tohoku earthquake (which was about 6 on the Richter scale where we were). I hope he was down by the time that started, otherwise it must have been a pretty scary ride.

Groundhog was wrong!
Groundhog predicted 6 more weeks winter but we've had record warm spring temperatures for two weeks & flowers & trees blooming a month too early.
Punxatawny Phil was wrong but we will get more normal twmperatures this week & goin 4ward

Something seriously wrong with the strobe setting. Looks like flash on the 2nd curtain, whilst the photo was taken with F/18 at 1/125. Ugh.
Hoping for a beach, found myself in a midlle of the field... covered in water... raining...
But was nice ... warm... and sensual....
Not regreting a thing...
Seeing that the little robot was sad, Beth came over to her.
“What is wrong, little one?” Looking up with bright and shiny eyes, KIXY answered, “I’m…so different. I want to be like everyone else.” “Why do you feel so different, KIXY?” “Because I look at myself and I don’t look like you, or your sisters.” “KIXY, we are all alike in many ways but it’s also nice to be different too, and remember, you are family now, so they are your sisters too. We are all different as well, KIXY. We are all dolls, as are you. Our skins are all different colors and yet inside we are so very alike. You wear clothes sometimes as we do you and do many of the things we do.” “But….I still feel different. I know I do some things like you do, but…well, like when we eat- I don’t, you know….have waste like humans do. I convert it to energy.” “Well, KIXY, if you think about it, so do humans. We use the food we eat as energy, it’s just some things we cannot use so they are removed.” “Oh my. I hadn’t thought of it like that. Well, there is something that really makes me feel very different.” “What is that, KIXY?” asked Beth as she drew the little robot closer to offer some comfort the best she could. “Well…I…don’t have a heart, like people do. I mean, when I was created, I was given one, but it’s, well….it’s not a human heart. It’s fake.” Thinking for a moment, Beth began to smile. “KIXY, instead of saying it’s fake, how about saying…artificial?” KIXY thought about it and said, “Well, yes. I guess that is the same thing.” “Actually,”corrected Beth, “artificial can mean something is specially made to recreate or replace something. Did you know there are some people with human hearts that for many different reasons like diseases or accidents have to have their hearts replaced?” Looking surprised, KIXY said “I didn’t know that! What happens when they take out their heart?” “Well, some people get new hearts from people that donate theirs when they die, but in some cases, people are given artificial hearts. They may not be considered real in that they are not flesh and muscle but- to the people that are given a new chance at life, they are very real.” The little robot sat and thought about what she had just learned. All you could hear was the quiet whirrs and clicks from inside the little robot. Looking up at Beth, the little robot’s eyes shone brightly. “Are you still sad, KIXY?” “What you see, some may think is the clear lubricant that enables me to keep my eyes and lids working smoothly, but to me, they are tears and I know they are real. I am crying, dear Beth, because I am so very happy. I know I have a lot to learn about people things but I know I can do it because I am just like you.” “Yes you are, KIXY, yes you are.”
