Not much time today so just posterised a photo I took yesterday.
7 Days of Shooting/Week #17 - Books and Novels/Technique Tuesday
A recent improvement to London's buses is that you can now pay using contactless credit and debit cards, which you just press against the Oyster reader.
Given a lot of Woking's population work in London, I can understand why you'd want to advertise the new feature in this area, but really, it's not a great idea, given that it just says "the bus" in "the new way to pay for the bus" and it's miles away from buses using that technology!
Route 25 (Ilford to Holborn/Oxford Circus) runs up to every 3-4 minutes. I'd love to see frequencies that high here!
On the plus side, I see that Surrey CC have put up "Where to board your bus in Woking" information at the Cawsey Way stops, which is good.
Cawsey Way, Woking, Surrey.
NOT going to Waterloo, yet another SWT information error! 450081 at Clapham Junction, heading away from London.

I am disappointed that I did not take my time with these shots. I barely paused while walking by, I felt a little off I guess. I was in a dress and I could not kneel down to get the shots I wanted here in Pioneer square so I felt limited. Just an excuse for cutting off the guys head.
The Rush of Green. One Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, London. Sculpture by Sir Jacob Epstein, 1969, also known as the Edinburgh Gate sculpture. It depicts the god Pan luring a family and their dog into the great outdoors.
"Here, Epstein shows off his prowess with bronze, in this slightly disturbing sculpture close to Knightsbridge. The arrested motion captured in the group reminds us of another London sculptor, Enzo Plazzotta. The energy of the piece is incredible, especially give that Epstein was still honing it on the day he died, aged 79. (The bronze was posthumously cast).
A group of lanky-limbed individuals and their dog bound towards Hyde Park. The diabolic character chivvying them along is Greek God Pan, playing a tune on his eponymous pipes. It is, at first, hard to think of a more inappropriate setting, hidden away near a virtually disused access road. But you look what’s behind them, and you think of the beautiful green park before them, and their emotional dash makes perfect sense."

Essay: “Ann Coulter … Dangerously Wrong!” at wp.me/p4jHFp-7x.
Ann Coulter – fiery neoconservative turned xenophobic paleo-conservative – utterly rejects reality, claiming ISIS poses no threat to Americans in the homeland. All to promote her brand, her book, and herself.
Yes, Coulter vigorously denies what everyone else knows to be true: ISIS is in America.
Remember, this Fourth of July, Coulter is not looking out for America, she is looking out for herself.
86 and 99's successful mission becomes less so when they mistakenly board a KAOS submarine commandeered by Siegfried.

Attended a fellow flickrite's photography opening last night and got myself inspired. Shot 545 photos today. Woot!

Not prepared for the overabundance of engines, I attempt to squeeze in the six units that make up this westbound on CP in Oconomowoc with my zoom lens already attached. Leaders are NS 9568-8461-9171-7503 CP 9766-9157. I was most surprised to see 9157 out on the rails. Those CP 9100's have great sounding horns....always reminded me of what the Soo SD60's sounded like when new.
