Heading out to Trona Pinnacles we took a wrong turn and went about 5 miles before turning around. Even though it was the wrong way, it was better road than the one we took to the Pinnacles.

Here is the thing about this sunset. This was more to the east than towards the west - which is the wrong side! The sunset was basically behind me. This is more or less where we would see the sunrise this time of year. I need to study up on how the light reflected around the earth to give this impression and not light up the sky above me. Either way, God's work is gorgeous...
