I went down the wrong road today while trying to locate a business. But sometimes the wrong road turns out to be the right one. :-) At least for a girl who likes to take photographs!!
Take a bruised chin take a skinned knee
take a million hits before I ever concede
scream is that all you got as I bleed
I always come back, I never disappear
even if I take my final breaths here
I need you now
don't fade away on me
cause I made a mistake,
I think I took a wrong turn
somewhere along the way,
I sealed my fate
and all I know is you're gone,
yeah you're gone away
I'll never touch your face
I'll never see you again
And I watch each day through the falling snow,
the dead men walking through their highs and lows
wishing they could start again somewhere new
and I stare at the cold and I feel their pain,
i watch as their life slowly fades away.
I see their eyes, they're piercing mine,
there's nothing I can say
Cause I made a mistake,
I think I took a wrong turn
somewhere along the way,
I sealed my fate and all I know is you're gone,
yeah you're gone away I'll never touch your face
I'll never see you again
Cause I made a mistake,
I think I took a wrong turn
somewhere along the way,
I sealed my fate and all I know is you're gone,
yeah you're gone away I'll never touch your face
I'll never see you again
I might be wrong
I might be wrong
I could've sworn I saw a light coming on.

We took a wrong turn & ended up with a ford to cross & on this gravel track heading to a dead end. Luckily We were able to turn around at the end of the road.
DOC Campsite beside the Tairua River. It rained solidly for over 24 hours & the beautiful river became a raging torrent.

The Space Shuttle Endevour did a fly over of the Golden Gate Bridge and the East Bay today on it's final flight to an L.A. museum. I wanted to get up early and get to the GG bridge but I forgot to set my clock last night. So after getting a late start and caught in traffic I decided that the Ferry building area should work okay because I thought it would fly down the bay along the waterfront and over the Bay Bridge. No luck it never got close to me...Darn. I didn't get any good shots but I think this works if only for the Buck Rodgers spacecraft sculpture on the lower left. Both represent our past vision of space I just hope we keep looking forward towards exploration. I expect to see some spectacular shots from the people who did get to the Golden Gate.

Yes, you can see the amber and green lights at the same time! Whoops! Seconds later, they did change to red (with no added colour). Although the lights themselves may be LED, they still require relays to drive them, which means they are prone, occasionally, to mechanical failure.
