After going nuts from writing for the last several months Wendy has decided to spend her days writing at different spots in town. Sometimes the coffee shop other times the health food store.
URBAN NINJA
1. what do you write?
I write UN and I draw ninjas.
2. how long have you been writing?
I’ve been doing street art since 2015.
3. how has your style evolved/changed in your progression with art?
I tend to design more in black & white. I still make colour pieces but I find it challenging to create in black & white.
4. what is your favourite material to use? (paint, markers, stickers etc)
Stickers & wheat paste.
5. favourite thing about graffiti ?
My favourite thing about graffiti is its creative community.
The Relay for Life covers the beginning of the annual Greek Week and was held at Stamps field next to the Campus Recreation Center (CRC).

Several of you have put up pics of writing with light experiments. Well, here's mine - from 1981!
Tripod-mounted Pentax MX 50mm lens, f5.6 30 sec exposure, Agfachrome 100ASA slide film.
These photos were taken at a protest in front of the coptic hospital the day after copts were attacked. The protest was meant to be a march in mourning till the church in Abbasia for the funeral. However, the head of the coptic hospital wanted to write the death certificates as "natural causes" for death. Ridiculous of course.
On October 9th a peaceful march from Shubra to Maspero was staged to protest against the military police brutally ending a protest last week (Oct 4th), hitting a priest and events like this video: youtu.be/ORft8twm5jM
This protest was heavily attacked, first by unidentified thugs, then by the army. People were shot, run over by army trucks and hit with tear gas, sticks, and there were reports of other weapons and live ammunition.

★WHAT IS THE DREAM ROCKET PROJECT?
The Dream Rocket Team is collecting nearly 8,000 artworks from participants around the globe. The artwork will be assembled together to create a massive cover in which will wrap a 37 story Saturn V Moon Rocket at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. We will also be displaying submitted artwork in dozens of national venues prior to the wrapping of the Saturn V. Additionally, we are posting images of submitted artwork & their stories on our Website, Flickr, and Facebook.The Dream Rocket project uses the Saturn V Moon Rocket as a symbolism of universal values of the human spirit. Optimism, hope,
caring for our natural resources, scientific exploration, and harnessing technological advancements for a better quality of life while safeguarding our communities, are all common desires across national and international boundaries. Participants are able to express and learn about these values through this creative collaboration. With the completion of each artwork, participants are asked to write an essay explaining their artwork, and the dream theme in which they chose.
★How can I Participate & Have my Artwork Displayed?
The Dream Rocket project would like to challenge you to ‘Dare to Dream’. To dream about your future and the future of our world through dream themes such as health, community, conservation, science, technology, space, peace, and so on. We would like you to use your selected Dream Theme to express, explore, and create your vision on your section of the wrap. We hope that you are able to express and learn through this creative collaboration. With the completion of each artwork, you are asked to write a brief essay explaining your artwork, and the dream theme in which you chose.

Posted this image earlier but I had to repost as i am trying to figure out applications on my new 24" iMAC.
I did some minor edits in iPhoto and saved the image, iPhoto allows you to directly link to your Flickr account so you can automatically upload the image. Seems to be a great idea.
One BIG problem, when you establish the link, deleteing an image from iPhoto also automatically deletes the image from Flickr .... yikes. Good thing I found this out early as I just read through a few iPhoto groups and people have deleted entire sets of photos from their Flickr portfolio without even realizing the implications ... BUMMER!
iPhoto on it's own is quite an impressive, quick and easy to use photo editor for jpegs but I use the Canon DPP software mostly as it is quite powerful.
Overall, the iMAC is amazing and you can't beat the 24" screen when editing and viewing your images, the quality blows me away.
This image was shot with an Olympus OM2sp and Zuiko 100 mm f2.8 lens.
