This is a lot of things.
A photo of a mockup of a notebook idea i have.
The mockup will also become a piece of mail art for a mail art group I am participating in this year.
The words are a snippet from a poem I wrote, using found text, back in the 1990s.
This is also an interesting photograph of a work table in our office. I read a description of someone else's "scarred worktable" and for the first time really understood what that would mean. Didn't notice how scarred ours was till I made this photo.

Two Colors Pad Printing Machine for Shoe Heel
FA PRINTING MACHINE MANUFACTURER LIMITED produces the latest entry model pad printing machines to decorate lady shoes heels, sport shoe sole, trainer sole , insole etc. Especially apply to printing the leather texture design on shoe heel and sole.
By using fully servo system, the heel/sole printing machine could do 360° Pad Printing---this feature brings the printing molding at one time. We are glad to said it is the only machine which could finish printing at one time and print the waterline design to shoe heel/sole as per requirement.
With the exquisite etching printing line/dot on steel plate , the shoe sole printing effect is much better than rotary/roll pad printing. Not only the pattern is clear, but also easy to operate.
Our Heel/Sole Pad Printing Machine adopts the world's top pneumatic components, Japan SMC cylinder, oil bumper, German FESTO solenoid valve etc, ensures its workable performance to be more durable and stable.
1.With microcomputer-controller, in-built 9 sets of working procedure, fully automatic operation makes the printing more mechanical
2.With aluminum alloy structure frame and metal coating surface, the machine is easy to move but steady
3.Ink tray and ink cup could be adjusted individually. The worktable is adjustable from front to back, left and right, up and down, and in tilting angle.
4. With function of leveling ink by sliding automatically on front /back, avoiding printing ink partial solidification
5. Adjustable inking pressure and printing speed meets different printing requirements
6. 360° adjustable rubber pad angle and ±5° adjustable worktable angle ensure repeat precision to be less 0.05mm
7.Worktable, plastic head and ink cup can be adjusted X, Y,Z direction
8.This sole pad printer is equipped with self diagnostic function, and mechanical faults are more convenient to maintain through error code prompt.

shifting from the desktop pf my computer to a frank analogic desktop. Tha plate is in the tank (the timer set the sensitizing time). At the right, the plate holder with the Scully-Osterman modification made by the great Niles Lund (www.lund-photography.com). The silver bath tank too has been provided by Niles Lund. Some spilling from the collodion pouring are part of the play, but I hope to reduce the dripping when flowing the plate, with more skill.

The underlying fabric is called Forest Hills. I was looking for some 'american dream' upbeat home prints to use in my latest foreclosure quilt. I love this one because the repeat is so similar to a typical street grid that is seen throughout Cleveland.

Looking right from my worktable. My youngest is selling some Legos on ebay so they are on display IN one of the rooms of the Dal house...again, not a normal family! She made the castle on top of the bookcase for a school project a few years ago. Sam and Dean are sitting in the Deluxe Reading kitchen. The plastic drawers below them house more Re-ment.
These voile strips represent neighborhood blocks in my foreclosure map quilts. This is the stage before I start to piece them together to make the front panel. I love the frayed edges which will only become more frayed as I sew them together.

Yes, under all the clutter is my worktable. No, it has not dropped a bomb, nor have I pulled out every equipment I own. I have just been really bad clearing away equipment before I took on new things.
So this is my work-list from week 10 until week 22:
*Cleaning my work table, - 30 minutes.
*Illustration to text from Eirik - a bit stuck.
*Postcard swap, 10 postcards, iHanna - Not started, deadline 12th of March!
*Marionetts, learning to make some dolls, 400 hours. - about 70 hours into the project.
*Educational illustration - almost done, about 4hours left.
*Carving a stamp/linoleum - just the fine tuning and printing/stamping.
*Install shelves in the studio - not sure of the hours, 6 racks, 3 done.
*Moly_x, - one journal entry every month.
*Rakels picture, - adding text and varnishes, deadline 1.May.
*Art journal - 15 minutes everyday.
If I find the time:
*Blog, somewhere in my head there is a connection between what I know I would love to share, and finding the moments to put my self down and typing it up in English.
* Lifebook classes
*Editing the videos that I have filmed.
*Make 10 ATC and find someone to swap them with!
*Sample book, making an overview of the techniques I know.
*Ballerina painting, - adding the detail and shadows in the dress + varnishes, deadline 1. august.
*Geo Caching, need some fresh air.

This one of a series of books made from the paper I place on my worktable. They form a diary of marks related to the period of time they are in place. Some have dates, this one does not. The paper here is a heavy cartridge paper, the front nad back covers have been coated in beeswax to give them some strength.
This particular book was produced in 2012 whilst preparing for my Painting with Natural Dyes workshop.
It has a tape binding, so all pages will open flat, the tape used is naturally dyed silk which has then been made into silk string which wraps around the book and is tied to secure it. It has been hand bound using a linen thread.
There are some awesome marks in this book, many pages appear to be maps of myserious places. There is quite a bit of colour in this book, featuring experiments with natural dye pigments to make paint such as , cochineal, logwood, indigo, madder, alkanet, lac and querabacho also play with tea and dandelion coffee.
This book can either be left as an artist's book or you can enter into a collaboration with me
