Dear scientists and inventors, do not leave your workplace unattended.

It's a mess, of course. I moved a bunch of stuff up from downstairs and haven't organized it yet. This will be mostly Calico/Sylvanian stuff, also some Re-ment. My worktable and other miniature stuff will remain downstairs in the family room. The other half of the room has a bed, for when my daughter comes to stay over, or anyone else brave enough to stay in there : )

From the bark tray on my worktable.

This was our worktable earlier in the week. So many wigs, so little time. We move in 18 days!

TONS of spam coming later on today and tomorrow. I'm excited to share them with you c: <3

The Healer’s Cot Heiltrud lies sheltered from the wind, half sunken into the earth, and you step down a few steps to reach the entrance door. Small and cozy, the small cot offers space for a herbalist of the Middle Ages or in a medieval fantasy setting. The furniture includes a rustic fireplace, a cozy alcove bed (adult version also available), a work table, a richly decorated small shelf and seating in the form of chairs.

Aegna, a small island that from its shores has always observed the Estonian capital Tallinn. It

hosted few settlements of fishermen in its golden days, a soviet base in the darkest ones, and

nowadays abandoned constructions along with wild nature. Now the population is accounted to be

of six people, who are not to be found despite any effort; mainland dwellers fleeing the city for a

greener place are instead the only humans that can be spotted. Exploring the island I've indeed

found a summer centre for Buddhist meditation and a couple of monks in spiritual retire, but then

only ran-down or even crumbling facilities of the soviet era, new built estates with the typical traits

of the Scandinavian architecture, spiritual spots for offerings to unknown deities, as well as many

other puzzling and inapprehensible things, like feathers scattered on a pathway for an instance. Not

the actual inhabitants though, except the ones buried in the local cemetery, which counts dozens of

tombstones on a musky field adorned by lichens. Here the people are at the best just an ephemeral

phenomenon, solely consistence of the residuals of their past existence.

I've been cleaning my worktable and made a cute little area of fun stuff : )

Kaiser need a comforting hand from Astrida as he gets used to Ray's new territory at the back of our garden. Ray's tree house had to come down as our old Mimosa tree had become rotten. His house is now on a converted worktable - much more stable than the tree . It was quite upsetting for Ray when he lost his treehouse and he took to sleeping in strange places but all 's well now.

Now nearing completion, the final shaping is done, including making sure the bottom is flat. He has started a torch going, and will attach another stick to the bottom. Then the neck is severed, and the opening widened so it becomes a glass. Then another artisan attaches a ribbon of glass for the handle. On another worktable, he separates the stick and cleans up the sharp edge. Then it cools overnight, resulting in the next photo.

Again...sorry for the bad pic, as I said before, this is my garage and has no natural light:-(

Just a play of the sunlight through a window and onto a wall adjacent to my worktable.

When the weather turned bad, my better half and I decided to take a still life photo right on the farm. She was responsible for the composition and I have to say she did a great job. I'm thrilled with how the still life photo turned out. The composition with the cup and jug sets a calm, rustic tone. In the foreground, the three red eggs of a maran hen add a rich, earthy colour that contrasts nicely with the delicate white feather next to them. On the left, the bouquet of goutweed adds a touch of nature's wild charm. All of this is set on a worn wooden worktable and a slate plate, with the weathered patina of an old farmhouse door providing a nostalgic backdrop. This scene perfectly captures the simple, timeless beauty of country life.

been working on a kitbash and my cramped worktable inspired a photo

and "killed" one of my sweet vintage hankies ;) This will be a raglan blouse ....

The scrap quilt in the center is the center layer of the Riverside, CA Foreclosure Quilt. All of the scraps were remnants saved from making past foreclosure quilts.

A lovely fake peony on my worktable, because I can't grow them here.

I've been working on that 1/6th pantry and this is how my worktable has ended up, lol. You can see the pantry on the far right. The window in the middle of the table is the last thing I need to finish for it. I did something to my back, which SUCKS big time, and I'm not getting much done. I can't wait to stuff the pantry with a bunch of Re-ment!!

Oh, and I added some notes if you mouse over the pic.

Sorry about that bright beacon!!

I built this to store all my craft supplies, and to have a large work surface.

One of the stations of my life

week 2 theme - water drop refraction - 52 week project.

Set this up on my glass worktable. Took many shots, but this, I think, was the best one. Fun learning experience & something new to look for when I am out shooting in the wilds of Pennsylvania. LOL

This will also be my entry for TMSH #2 - Learning, since I had to learn a new technique to do this shot.
