In the very early 60s, one of my favorite TV shows was Dobie Gillis. I especially loved the the beatnik character, Maynard G. Krebs. To Maynard, 'work' was a dirty word, and whenever he heard the word, he was suprised. His eyes would widen and his voice would go up as he repeated,"WORK?!"

Here's a YouTube clip from this very old series:

Today, my summer vacation is over, and I'm back to work. Or should I say, "Work?"

I just put a 28 inch light bar on the front of my work truck. It also has LED lights in the rear for backing up, a necessity for very rural West Virginia mountainous back roads. I just ordered a 45 inch light bar for the top.

A contact reminded me that It's been a while since I posted a pic of the toy, and since it's not like there aren't a few in the archives, here's a non-HDR shot ...In the warm months I drive the Stang to work a few times a week. There is nothing like taking the long way home to decompress and get back in touch of what really matters in life...

One of which, in my case , is driving fast

"Rostos do Muro Azul" CHPL-Lisboa

According to EUROSTAT, in EU Countries, the fatal accidents at work every year reach 5,700, while according to estimates of the World Labour Organization other 159,500 people die from diseases caused by their jobs. Combining these two figures it comes out 1 dead for “work” every three minutes and a half, every single day….

A systematic evaluation of risk at the workplace, especially in high-risk sectors such as construction, health and 'agriculture, can dramatically reduce that number.

6 exposure panorama. for some reason two along the bottom came out a bit darker then the rest.

Stobist info: 1 Alien Bees B1600 inside of soft boxed flagged with large reflector behind triggered manually while shutter was opened by IR Remote.

It's Been awhile since I had a post. This shot didn't work out the way I wanted. To Start, I forgot my radio triggers and had to fire the strobe manually. I couldn't light the label with a reflector so I blended 2 exposures, one being over exposed by illuminated the label correctly and then simply maked out everything else in post.

Just a normal day for sissy housewife Daniela!
