I actually liked the hut better last year when it was still really old and rickety (see pic in first comment). But it probably wasn't very safe any more... When you cross the small bridge to the left, you will reach Lake Langsee (2.384 m) and then continue up into the mountains. Our way down leads straight ahead.☀️ Have a fantastic and peaceful Travel Tuesday everybody ☀️

A jetlagged photographer taking photos of people on their way to work in the early morning in Vancouver.
While traveling through Wales, I saw a beautiful garden that was incredible and meticulous in every way. Then I spotted these work boots on a table in the shed and thought about all the work it takes to make the garden perfect. Nothing is worth having without putting in extra effort and hard work.
Trying out some new stuff here. Mostly layering and angles. I feel like this build didn't photograph too nicely. The landscaping and layering look better in real life. The angles work better too.
Enjoy nonetheless.

While walking along the Arly river in Savoie, I could admire the work of these bees foraging in the wisteria.
Thanks for your visit, I wish you all a great weekend.
Bienen ernähren sich rein vegetarisch. Ihre wichtigste Nahrungsquelle sind süße Pflanzensäfte – insbesondere Nektar. Für die Eiweißversorgung sind sie auf Pollen angewiesen.
The island of Island Pond here is getting eroded away, and this fallen tree was once on solid ground. It makes a nice background for the fishing egret while it lasts.
The Victorians loved these sorts of gazebos with their fine lattice work. It provides a place to rest in the shade while visiting the graves at the Melbourne General Cemetery.

Back in the late 90s we lived on the Olympic Peninsula and Robert commuted on the ferry every day. He worked in Edmonds. This was shot from the shores of Edmonds this morning at day break. That's looking across Puget Sound at the Kingston landing with the Brothers in the background.

A long drive in the hope of catching up with some visiting Aussie railfans and perhaps catching the DGs at Weka Pass had us detouring north for a returning work train and we made it here with barely a minute to get partway up the hill.
Thanks to Dean for his steering skills.
