Happy weekend everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the lead up to the holidays :D Over the next few days I will be sharing photos of a full home design that I have completed for one of my clients.
My client requested a black & white colour scheme (one of my favourites to work with!) throughout her entire home. In order to keep the space from feeling cold and sterile, I used a lot of different textures and patterns on the throw cushions, rugs and even on the furniture itself. Additionally, I opted for a grey hardwood that had a bit of a warm undertone, placing additional warmth into the space.
I hope you all enjoy the pictures of this design project as much as I did creating it!
P.S. If you would like to know the name of the store or designer who has created any of the pieces you see in this photo please feel free to IM me in world (Brinks Lemmon) or send me a Flickr message and I'll send you the store/designer information.

For generations, gondoliers have worked these waters, passing down skills and traditions that define who they are. Tourists may see a charming ride, but for the gondoliers it's everyday life-steady, familiar, and rooted in history. This image offers a small look at that world.
About to start yesterday. The company secretary was in, so it was best aprons all round.

It's very difficult to get work done when assholes are trying to tear your country down. I am on a deadline that I have very little chance of meeting but am also being distracted because racist, wannabe fascists have stormed the Capitol building. I'm angry, I'm frustrated, I'm saddened, I'm wishing I was shocked but I'm not. Most of all, I'm embarrassed. The people who are making this happen are also the same people that spout off about American Exceptionalism. We aren't exceptional. Certainly not anymore at least. This is not exceptional, this is pathetic.
There is a lot of work to do and deadlines are looming.
