We had a fantastic red sky yesterday morning however the scene in the opposite direction at Braeval looking towards Ben Lomond was equally stunning.

I was awake at 5 o'clock, looked out the window, it was still dawn, but I saw it was fog and there will be a sunrise, I jumped in the clothes, took the dog and went off ...

without access to a pc while on holiday in Ireland, I'm relying on a tablet and phone to take and edit photos and to post on Flickr!

To love someone so much and no control
I think I'm lost without you
But I think I'm lost without you
I just feel crushed without you
I've been strong for so long
That I never thought how much I needed you
I think I'm lost without you
There is no hurry. We shall get there someday

This is Happy Isles Bridge 😊 One of a handful of bridges in Yosemite NP, and at one of only a few spots where the Merced River was still.
I will be travelling and without internet in my lodgings next week so I will catch up with you all very soon. Take care and have a lovely week end!

* Just got back from an enjoyable few days in Porto in Northern Portugal. I would have sent you postcards but this is rather cheaper . It was taken from a cable car in Vila Nova De Gaia on the opposite side of the River Douro
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT TO MY STREAM.
I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL IF YOU COULD NOT FAVE A PHOTO
WITHOUT ALSO LEAVING A COMMENT
Life's a long, long road, if we are lucky. For so long I've just followed the road, it seems with one wheel stuck in a rut at the side steering me along without me being in control. And it has gone on and on. There's a crossroads further down in the picture, in the middle of nowhere. No signs. No landmarks. Just an empty crossroads where two roads meet on the barren moorland. I'm getting near there. Do I carry on straight or turn, left or right, and explore a bit to the side...perhaps it was a waste of time, the wrong choice....nothing to see down there, and return to the junction.
I'm almost at that point, decisions, decisions in deciding if I leave so much of what I've known, work, Cheshire and the hills around, friends, goats, North Wales and take a change in direction.
We've found a place. A long way north. Seven hours drive north to Acharacle, Argyllshire at the far end of Loch Shiel. Mountains, lochs, deer, little beaches with white sand, heather...........
I've seen recently how hard it is to leave everything you've known and strike out somewhere else when my son took his young family off to New Zealand. They'd said they never could have anticipated how difficult it would be to say "Goodbye". My turn soon.
my friends, i don't know why i love to shoot on sky. my friend brian is right. he always love sky more than other. and i find out that sun, sky, cloud can be so artistic. this one i captured yesterday, not much time to go out, my friends. i hope this morning or tomorrow i can go somewhere, but not sure about it. this time, i'm not lucky. no bird at all that could be captured. sigh... good morning, my friends. may you have another fine day!
Hi everyone, I'm disabled and have been without a source of income for over a year so if you are in a position to help, I have setup an account to accept donations, even as little as the price of a coffee. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Even without Aspens or scrub oak, this alpine valley somewhere near 12.000' of elevation shows off fall colors with the grasses in the late afternoon.
Stopped at a switchback, along the last leg of the Alpine Loop Trail coming down from Engineer Pass to Animas Forks, the serenity, crispness, and amazing color palette were breathtaking. The small ponds reflected the rich blue skies overhead, while the clouds directed the light into an interesting pattern on the ground.
Congrats on Explore!

One more year without Michael Hutchence. (22/jan/1960-22-nov-1997)
"I'm just a man
My will is so strong
When I've got plans
I close my eyes to the pain
My mother ran
My father left town
But we will have
What's necessary to go on
Flesh and blood
I'm part of you
You're part of me
There's nothing said
Tha can not be undone
My brother's sane
His heart is so strong
He's killed some pain
To himself nearly did the same
It washed away
Into the cruel sea
Like everything
That's built upon the sand..."

Playing With Light....
Christmas Eve Karen and I bundled up and made our way out into the falling snow, our plan was to capture some light painting shots of the snow fall and to try to be creative in the midst of a lockdown. this shot of Karen illuminating snowflakes falling in the park was a lot of fun to play with. I will post more shots of our adventure in the following days. keep posted. ..
