I bought it today at a tag sale in Stratford Connecticut the town next to where it was made. It's the first one like this I have seen and found the design very nice both visually and in the way it feels in your hand and wonder why nobody seems to make a version of it today. An other nice thing is because of the way the blade is exposed it can be opened with one hand.

I always thought the telephone pole in my back yard had way too many wires coming off of it. They do form interesting angles though.

This Sigma lens is damn sharp.

This wire sculpture was a project for our class. I absolutely love this! And, frankly, I never knew I could do it! I had a few ideas before this, but it all failed. So, I just had a sudden brain fart! I said, "Why don't I just make an elephant!" So I did! Then along the way, I thought that just one elephant would be boring and lonely. So I added a baby elephant to be by her side. :) So yeah. I made it overnight. Remind me not to cram again! Gaaah! >.< I tell ya, it wasn't easy making this. Well, I'm thankful I got a good grade for this. It was worth it. :)

Hope you guys like it! :D

This piece is called "Michelles"

Inspired by my friend, Michelle. She adores elephants! Love you, Mich! Miss you! :)

I always love the contrast of power lines against the sky.

Manhattan Beach, LA, that is...

This is from one of my favorite abstract shoots, taken earlier this spring. It's the junction of two pieces of wire fence on a farm near Esko, MN. The twists and turns of the connecting wire reminded me of sort of a digital signature, which is why I've titled in such a manner.

Polymer Clay, no varnish, no glaze just handsanding and polishing.

Look up. Not much going on this day, so I had to be a little creative with some editing, and took a photo of something we all see, everyday and don't pay much attention to.

Velcro cut into 4 strips with a #6 sheet metal screw and #6 washer make an easy way to attach wires underneath a train layout. A large bundle of wires can be secured. New wires can be easily added and existing wires can easily be removed from the bundle. Cost is less than 25 cents each.
