It is amazing how many people (including myself) that grew up in LA did not know about the Abandoned LA Zoo.
Since I was trying out my new macro lens, this is all you get to see of the Abandonded Zoo.
Great for hanging up pictures to dry, art exhibitions or drapping with fabric to make smaller rooms or dens.
A jumbo jet prepares for landing at LAX. Watch out for those wires! Golden State Freeway near Commerce, California. Yup, from a moving vehicle. I am a dangerous person. Beware. ; > (

Here it was already really dark, but I just shooted with F/1.8 and 1/60s. Begins to be quite noisy, ISO6400, but still usable (thanks D700!).
Edited in Colox Efex Pro 4 and www.picmonkey.com (adding the texture and the frame).
PS. I am editing these images in my laptop, and I am very scared of how my images do actually look... I have no idea of the color and brightness accuracy, they cannot be very good... At least I know that my laptop screen is brighter and less saturated, I think. So if you see some oversaturated, too dark or anything strange in my images, please tell me! Next I am going to buy an external screen and hopefully calibrate it too. Just have to save some money first.
Verizon wants everyone still on the copper cables to be connected using their fiber optic cables. Me being still on copper they came and switched my connection to fiber optic. Here the tech is connecting the new line to my house.
