Along the main drag outside Fort Campbell, every business seems to use lifesize fake animals to attract customers. This giraffe outside a pawnshop is my favorite. He's looking at the Post Office flag across the street.

a very short trip to Nagasaki

~200x view of a UV EPROM through the quartz window. The part is a MBM2764-30 from an Oberheim DX synth. The sticker had long since peeled off , although the data seems to be ok. Wikipedia says "1 week of sunlight" to "3 years of flourescent lights" may cause erasure.

vintage, thrifted toy farm animals... glittered up and made into charms for my wire xmas trees. :)

(This photo responds both to this and last week's Macro-Monday theme: wire and glass. Kind of pathetic, not being able to decide for myself what to take a picture of...)

A jumbo jet prepares for landing at LAX. Watch out for those wires! Golden State Freeway near Commerce, California. Yup, from a moving vehicle. I am a dangerous person. Beware. ; > (

Sunset in Bemmel..

Have a nice weekend!

Wax & Wire - Loch Lomond

I'm helplessly needless and needless to say I owe you.

I'm helplessly needless and needless to say I owe you.

Well I'd wade ten thousand klicks for a just one more chance.

Just one more chance, to see your face again.

Well I'd pull, 10 time the weight of the earth with my teeth.

The earth with my teeth to touch your face alive.

You lie helplessly still as your face falls apart.

You lie helplessly still as your face falls apart.

With wax and wires and hair from the back of your head.

With wax and wires and hair from the back of your head.

Well I can make your face brand new.

Well I can make your face brand new.

La la la da da da da da da da daaaa

la la da da da da da da da da daaaa

You are warm.

You are warm.

Come take my hand and I'll take your hand,

And I will bring you out.

Come take the line and I'll take the line,

And I will pull you out.
