A Treemendous Photo.....
Every once in while I like to pour through my photo archives looking for the one or two that got away, yesterday was one of those days; I was home alone and spent the better part of the day reminiscing and remembering some of the adventures Karen and I have been on. I pulled several images that on second sight caught my eye. I will post two today and perhaps when I have time post a few of the others. Each is wonderful in its own right and can stand on its own as a strong image. I love images that tell a visual story that really do not depend on a lot of explanation.
this image taken after a weather event in February of 2016. the ice hung heavy on the branches bringing down quite a few trees and electrical wires. despite the devastation the beauty was undeniable.
Thank you for visiting for marking my photo as a favourite and for the kind comments,

Created and uploaded for the ~ Winter Treatment ~ challenge over at the Award Tree group... always such great art created in these contests, check it out!
No Christmas lights in these frames, (well, Christmas is still a couple of days away) but St. Basils Cathedral in Moscow looks festive year round, especially at night in winter.
The cold blast is over, but memories will remain. A blast of cold weather from the East left everything under snow again and with plenty pretty wintry scenes. A misty background was created by snow blown from branches by a wind blast. Royal Victoria Park in Bath, England, UK
A skier sets out across a frozen, snow-covered lake at Michigan's Kensington Metropark. He told me just before he headed out that he wishes winter would never end. I can't say that I share that sentiment. :-)
Flickr friends, I am back after a break and will be catching up with your latest images soon.
Shot from the stone jetty between mile markers one and two of the causeway to Antelope Island. In the past two weeks, I missed two of the most brilliant sunsets of December; one was due to a late afternoon nap and the second one caused by an afternoon of binge watching a favorite show on Netflix. I resolve to pay more attention to the afternoon sky up to two hours before sunset in 2020.

The Trompe L'oeil Stay At Home gift bungalow, Cecilia, makes a great little home. I need to get the snow addon!
