This is a Macro pic of the pine tree branch that is growing in front of our garage. I thought the green and white made a nice contrast, and the overall sharpness of the image is pretty good. Winter in New England.

On May 25th of 2015, a bunch of us got together to celebrate Memorial Day, as the Parade proceeded right by my sister's house. We had a really fun time on her porch, watching the annual parade go by, and waving to friends that we saw walking by.

I am one of those people who just love Buicks. My Grandfather gave me his '71 Electra Limited when I was 17, and I was hooked. The power! The smooth ride. The Turbo 400 Trans, and of course that 455 c.i. Stage - 1 engine that growled under the hood. I was king of the road out there, in high school. There were only a handful of cars that could even come close to what I was driving. So now, 30 years later, I am still and will always be a Buick enthusiast.
A picture of Maloney High School, before most of the renovations began. This is what it looked like when I went to school there. I was in the Class Of 1985. But recently the school has been renovated to have three floors now. and a much bigger capacity for kids. I guess Meriden is getting larger in it's population.

CELLPHONE GALAXY S EPIC pic of some kind of old street box, that looks a lot like an old fire box. It says that it's high voltage and that it's used to house cables of some sort, brobably electrical. I thought it was cool because it's so old and rusty, and it sits on State Street, in Meriden. Which is where the city is revitlaizing the HUB, which is right across the street. The project seems to be coming along very nicely. and I'm sure the removal of this old box is in future plans at some point. So, I see it as a piece of Meriden's history. The train station is only a block to the South of here.

I was brave enough to go out, and take a drive in storm Anna on Saturday, January 23, 2016. I needed to go to the pharmacy to pick up a refil on my dad's prescriptions. The roads were very slick, and I had them to myself, except seeing the occasional plow truck drive by. But, I made sure to grab my Pentax, before heading out the door. I chose to process this image in B & W, because I liked the way it looked, using NIK Silver Efex Pro 2, to do most of the editing for me. I love taking Blizzard and Snow shot's

I noticed this beautiful, Silver, Corvette, as we were walking to the beach, last June 2015. I think it's a C-6, and it just looks gorgeous. Looks to have a convertible roof, and some nice Corvette Chrome Wheels. I'm always a sucker for any nice car. Wish I could take this one for a spin. Taken In Clinton, CT USA.

I went into the Russian Cemetery on Westfield Rd., near the Golf Course, and couldn't see a thing. I had to use focus assist to help with getting a clear shot. I used a long 5 second exposure at f./6.3 and ISO 320 to capture enough light for this frame. Then, worked on the colors the best I could in Lightroom. It was only 18 degrees F. ouside. (28/365) Days Project.

A lovely picture of the front end of a 1937 Plymouth Business Coupe, taken by cellphone, in Meriden, CT
This is just a picture that I took in my neighborhood, on Dogwood La. and decided to mess around with in Photoshop and Lightroom. It lools like they recently had the front window replaced. It probably had a larger bay window, like our house at one time, and they decided to go with a flat, smaller window instead. Nice looking raised ranch up on a hill. We have such an interesting neighborhood of hoouses, all built in the 50s, by the same construction crews. A lot of them look very similar. I took this image early in the morning, in June at around 6:30 a.m.

How Timely! I walked across the east bound Chesapeake Bay Bridge today. It was lovely, The sun was bright and warming, the winds were calm. Sixteen thousand people quietly and peacefully participated. I loved this shot from my phone with the stair shadows on the concrete pillar, the tugboat pulling a barge, traffic on the other bridge and a glimpse of other participants.
