A Really Old Cable Box, on State St. in Meriden, CT, across from the HUB Project 2015. I thought it was cool, because it seemed to be the only Original piece still standing in the area. Taken With my very old Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G. / Edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.

A photo of Baldwin's Pond, on the coldest day of the year on record. I got some great detail as the strong sun was rising, shortly before eight o'clock in the a.m. I like the way the yellow and the black complement each other. Taken with my Tamron 28-80mm Zoom.

A 15 Second Exposure, early this morning in the dark. It was very foggy, so I used a Haze filter to eliminate the fog. The street was lit by that one streetlamp on the right. I thought it would make for an interesting exposure, and colors. I beefed up the edges in the trees as well, to give the image some more black contrast.

I noticed this beautiful car with a 'for sale' sticker on it, as I was engering out neighborhood. I always loved these C4s and this one is in fine shape.

A House on Atkins St. in Meriden. As it had just snowed out a couple of days before, I wanted to get a wintery feeling image. This looks like a beautiful home, that was built in the early 1900s or maybe before that.

Only in October do you see a sceen like this. The whole lawn is filled with pumpkins for the Halloween Season. This picture, I took one morning at 328 Paddock Ave, which is a church, and you can't help but notice all the pumpkins spread about the lawn and the house. Very colorful.

A beautiful 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood that I was in Wallingford, up in Ashler Village. I was looking around this lovely part of Masonicare, wondiering how much it would cost to have my Dad move there. From what I hear, it's awfly expensive. But, as I was driving through, I couldn't help but notice this Classic Cadillac. I've only seen a few that were this old. This one looks to be in fine shape. It also looks like it had been driven recently, which is awesome. I'm not a fan of trailer queens, that never see the street. If you own a car as nice as this one is, you might as well get some enjoyment out of it. I'm not sure, but this model may have a 12 cylinder engine under the hood, or an awfly big 8. The car was very impressive, is all I can say.

As I was waiting for my light to turn green, I had a chance to take a photo from where I was waiting. Nothing special, just a shot of the highway sign, and the Shell Gasoline sign in the background. But there was something about the composition that I liked about this image, to make me want to do some work on it. I had to use a higher ISO than I normally like to shoot with, but with some Lightroom tricks, I was able to get rid of much of the noise and still keep the image sharp.

I had to go to the pharmacy on Saturday, during the heavy snow storm, that we had coming down in Meriden. It was about 12:30 p.m. when the perscriptions were ready to be picked up. So, I braved the elements aand drjove the two miles to the pharmacy and back home. It was coming down pretty heavy. Especially on the way home. Thankfully the van has a new set of Yokohama Tires on it. I was one of very few cars on the road, which is hard to believe, for a Saturday around noon time. lol...

Wallingford CT on Tpk Rd. I noticed the interesting stones with all the growth on them, back in September of 2014. So, I had my Pentax K-x with me and the Kit Lens mounted, and decided to get some shots at around 6:30 a.m.

A photo of one of my older cameras. This was my first 35mm camera. The Canon AE-1. A Shutter Priority camera, that came out, when most all the other brands were going the way of Aperture Priority. I had my own darkroom and shot thousands of pics with this fine camera.

Hybrid printing system:

A digital negative image appeared on a 6.08" monochrome 2K LCD (no backlight itself, originally used for a 3D printer), herein called "virtual negative", was successfully formed on cyanotype (or Van Dyke) photographic paper using an analog photographic enlarger (light source: 395 nm UV SMD). This virtual negative method differs in this respect from previous digital negatives on OHP film (contact printing) and analog negatives as attempted by group: www.flickr.com/groups/cyanotype_wenlarger/).

Image signal is output to the LCD via HDMI from a mini-PC (OS: Windows 10) with a built-in graphics board capable of up to 4K video output.

Due to differences in the aspect ratio capable of being processed in the PC (9:16) and the LCD (10:16), the digital image needs to be rescaled in advance with custom aspect on "Photo" Windows application.

As I was taking pictures of the Meriden Green, across the street. I took some test shots to set up my white balance and saturation settings on my K-x. Well this is one of the shots I fook. I couldn't believe how blue the sky was. Then I went on to photograph the Green.

Sorry es gab nach dem Sicherheitsupdate Probleme mit einem Bildbearbeitungsprogramm und zwang mich zum Neuaufsetzen eines Computers, darum meine Inaktivität im Flickrstream.

The Fall of 2016 up here in New England. Taken with my Samsung Galaxy S4

I can't get over how well this phone takes pictures. So colorful, and sharp. Nearly as good as my DSLR. And the new Samsungs even shoot in RAW. Can you believe that? I know there was a big difference from the S4 and the S5 when it came out. The S5 having a 64 bit operating system, and all that good stuff. Crazy RAM. It even blows my computer away. My sister recently got the S7 Edge. Wow. what a truly amazing device. I've never seen anything like it.

Ravie de vous retrouver après 5 jours sans ordi (porté en boutique pour cause de passage en Windows10).

Cela commençait à me manquer, surtout que j'ai continué à faire des photos et je ne pouvais pas les voir en grand.

The faithful old Oki 14 laser printer, servant of a decade and a half finally decides to no longer co-operate following that nice Mr Microsoft's free update. No doubt a driver issue but in anycase after an hour or two I'm beat and after a couple of clicks along comes this spanking new Samsung CLP 680-CW laser. But criminey look at the size next to the oldun, Ok so it's got wifi printing which is a dream if a bit of a faff to set up. And crude colour but no way is it going to sit just under the desk anymore.

Leaving aside inflation it cost the same number of pounds as the old Oki. Happily we've still got the Windows 95 era box for our first inkjet Epson Stylus so it can be put on a shelf somewhere "just in case"
