Grundarfjörður's beautiful landmark is one of the most photographed mountains in Iceland. Its isolated position jutting out into the sea makes it a focal point in the area. Surrounded by beaches, Kirkjufell has a lovely walking trail around it as well as a more challenging climb up to the top where bird and fish fossils can be found. If you are a windows 10 fan for their preset screen savers you may recognize this mountain. This is my version and was taken around 22:25 in the evening.
Using a soft focus filter to make this picture look old. It was taken in Meeriden, CT at the barn at Miller Memorial at 267 Olive St., near the Broad St. intersection. I'm trying ssmething new with this image, by taking the extreme starpness out of the image. and softening it up a bit, but leaving the color saturation and white balance, pretty much as taken.

When I was little, I often passed with my mother the prison of my birthplace Freising on the way to the market. Sometimes a detained person looked out the window. In the 60s, the prison was closed. In 2001, I was the first to have the opportunity to enter the premises, which had been closed for more than 30 years. I wanted to document the building in its original condition. As I walked up the stairs to the cells, I first saw this old booklet entitled "Penal system." My last two images of the window series are dedicated to the old prison and are also the prelude to a new series about the old prison, which I will upload in due course.

29th September 2021 :
I went out this morning and finally got myself a new toy. Having used Graham's laptop for rather longer than I'd hoped, I now have my own ... again.
Not only is it a far larger screen, but it's also much faster than his, which only goes backwards!! I've spent the afternoon getting it organised, but have a few things to tweak, but will do them tomorrow.
A huge bonus was that I didn't have to try and get out of the stupid S mode, as I'd had to with Graham's. Although I'd found instructions on how to and booked marked them on his laptop, if needed.
One very happy me. 😊

7th February 2020:
I did it! Not only have I managed to change the dreadful wallpaper, but finally this morning I turned off the S mode.
Since we got our first computer many moons ago, we've always had Windows in French and usually I can navigate between the two languages to do something. But, not knowing Windows 10 couldn't do it in the two.
While on G's laptop yesterday I found a help page in French on how to get out of it, took a photo and uploaded that to my laptop. This morning with Graham reading the instructions in French I finally got out and I'm not going back in!!
Got him onto Google Chrome and installed Malwarebytes and had already got him PhotoScape X. I might get to play with that, if I'm lucky. ;-)
It's taken a week, but at least it's now all done. :O)

This is the cat that was created in MidJourney.. I have cropped it square and made a kaleidoscope using a 32x plug-in from Mehdi.. With very few plugins for 64x windows it is nice that someone has created a convertor that allows you to continue to use your old ones.. It was created by Mediachance.. I had it but lost it from Photoshop when they started adding the ai to their program but now I'm wondering if it will work in Windows 11... I have reinstalled but it comes and goes.. The Kaleidoscope was Made using the converter in windows10 Photoshop and the frame was also created that same way from Topaz Labs 2...

Going back to green, former Dublin Bus Leyland Olympian RH 125, through the 90's the main double decker in Dublin, RH 125 is seen recreating a 46A on the last day of the route 25th January 2025.

As a windows10 desktop wallpaper which The South Island of New Zealand most north of the beach wharariki that Attracts countless photographers waiting at sunset shine,But my love is still in the dark to take pictures of stars.There are three difficulties to be overcome in the sky,the first one is have enough courage in the dark night, with 30 minutes walk to the beach and I have a portable camera equipment,four camera lens,The Mac Pro,the instrument and battery tripod accessories such as number, weight of your brain can make up their own；the second one is the accurate calculation of time and tide when the tide rises the Milky Way range, not only to pay attention to the foot of the surging wave, but also beware of being the wind blowing sand lost eyes and mouth and nose；the third one is sea clouds come on, in the shortest time to complete the composition of the shot, the photographer is a big test of the value of experience,again kneel thanks New Zealand perfect transparent air, in order to realize my dream of the sea moonlight Galaxy.

Approaching Tampa around 7 pm, after two weeks in New York, it’s time for some high flying bad puns. Earlier I had been talking to a colleague about cloud engineering and the features coming in the next ring of Windows 10 updates, the same week as Microsoft sunsets Windows 7 support. Next thing you know, I see this opportunity for tech & visual puns. Cloud colors, matching Southwest Airlines colors, a scene seen through the ring of a window, showing another Florida sunset over the Tampa Bay region qualifying for a “10!” rating.

It was very early in the morning, on this wintery day. I was observing the first snowfall of the 2017 new year in Walmat Parking Lot in Wallingford, CT USA. It was exciting as all the parking lot's lamps lit up the grounds, so I was able to capture this image with my trusty old Cellphone. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a wonderful camera on it. I saved the image into my Lightroom file on my PC, and was wble to edit it from there with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom 5.7.1. Happy Friday Morning!

Hybrid printing system:
A digital negative image appeared on a Duobond 6 inch 2k monochrome LCD (no backlight itself, originally used for a 3D printer), herein called "virtual negative", was successfully formed on cyanotype (or Van Dyke) photographic paper using an analog photographic enlarger (light source: 395 nm UV SMD). This virtual negative method differs in this respect from previous digital negatives on OHP film (contact printing) and analog negatives as attempted by group: www.flickr.com/groups/cyanotype_wenlarger/).
Image signal is output to the LCD via HDMI from a mini-PC (OS: Windows 10) with a built-in graphics board capable of up to 4K video output.

This beautiful building along with two others the same size were knocked down several years ago. Also included were the Nuns Convent, and the Old School. Three buildings still remain at St. Rose. The Church, the New School, and the Community center across the street. These buildings werre always kept in pristine condition. It was heartbreaking to see them destroyed.

I stacked two images together after developing them a bit in Lightroom. The reason for the stacking, was that I was using two separate focus points. One headlamp was very close to me, so, I focused on it and took the shot. Then, I focused on the lamp furthest away and took the same shot, without moving the camera too much, using two handheld images., and an older model Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone as my camera.

I pulled over to the side of the road, got my cellphone out and rolled my window down. It was very cold. 18 degrees F., in fact. But I was able to capture this nice image of this empty park, at 7:20 a.m.

The British Airways Boeing 777 club suite, a room with a view.
On Sunday 5th March, British Airways operated a very unique flight on the London/Dublin route using their long haul Boeing 777-300ER.
Boeing 777-336ER, G-STBG, built in 2013, operated the 1 hour flight, always served by their short haul A319/320/321 fleet.
G-STBG has 8 first class, 76 business, 40 premium economy & 130 economy seats, featuring the new Club world lie flat suites in business, in a 1-2-1 configuration featuring sliding doors, rolled out between 2019 and 2022.

In late January, British Airways widebody runs to FRA,BER and DUB were offered in their booking engine due to a cargo contract with IAG Cargo requiring additional belly hold capacity.
Originally 31 short-haul widebody flights to Frankfurt, Berlin & Dublin, typically served by the Airbus A320 family between February and April switched to 777 operations.
Sadly however from an enthusiast point of view, most of the flights were downgraded back to Airbus A321 equipment before the actual flights commenced due to the loss of the cargo contract.
The Dublin flight of the 5th continued, moreso because of the heavy bookings on both legs, however the flight of the 7th reverted to an A321.
