Forget-Me-Nots and dandelions flourish in the historic garden of “Anne of Green Gables”. The colour contrast between two varieties of flower blossoms caught my eye; yellow dandelions and blue Forget-Me-Nots. These wild flowers were located behind the historic buildings almost out of sight. They were a visual treat well worth exploring. This historic farm is a National Historic Site in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Wondering around Cockington Country Park recently as Spring blooms are coming to life I captured this Wild Garlic place opened up with it's white flower.

Wild Dogwood Blooms this tree is growing in the woods, pretty wild but holding it's own, a bit thin because of a late freeze, shot in North Carolina.
Having a foggy morning yesterday, I headed out with my camera to a small community park that used to be an apple orchard left to grow wild for the most part.
Thanks for viewing and have a great day!
Happy Sliders Sunday.
Nothing like a herd of horses trotting around an open landscape.
Since they were behind a small wire fence I opted to use this image artistically and show the spiritual freedom they so desire.
Wild Mountain Thyme
Sarah Calderwood, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Andrew Greene
Oh the summer time is coming
And the tress are sweetly bloomin
And the wild mountain thyme
Grows around the bloomin heather
Will he go lassie go
And we'll all go together
To pluck wild mountain thyme
All around the bloomin heather
Will he go lassie go
I will build my love a tower
By your pure, crystal fountain
And around it i will place
All the flowers of the mountain
If my true love he were gone
I would surely find another
Where the wild mountain thyme
Grows around the bloomin heather

Sometimes you spend time on location and you wait for the light to be right - but it just won’t be right. You climbed on that rock that gives you the foreground you’ve been looking for and the tide is coming in quick. You know, if you don’t take the shot now you have wasted the scenery because swimming back with your precious camera gear is not an option. Alright then, when the colors won’t appear, let’s find out if it makes for an interesting monochrome image. What do you guys think, was it worth doing it in mono?
