One from the weekend and a snowy Alston Moor just outside the village of Nenthead in Cumbria.

I love this location, the grasses and the wall winding its way into the distance....beautiful but so bloody cold.

Alaska doesn't have many roads - but the few we have, wind their way through the most beautiful untamed country in the world.

If you plan a drive through Alaska - I would suggest doing so in the month of May. It is warm - there are no mosquitos - the mountains are snow covered - the days are long - and the wildlife can be easily seen. It is the perfect time of year to capture some amazing images.

Well, using textures and strong PS processing is definitely not my style, but I think I like how this came out :)

Vestrahorn on a windy afternoon, 60 mph+ and the black sand blowing everywhere. A very wild end to the day with very little light hence hand held at 1/8th of a second.

Bunch of wild horses against backdrop of Mount Jefferson at Warm Springs Indian Reservation, Oregon, USA.

I was extremely lucky to photograph this scene at Warm Springs. After spending the morning at Trillium lake, I decided head towards Bend, OR. While driving towards Madras, I saw this lenticular cloud over Mt. Jefferson. I pulled over and took couple of photos but with out any interesting foreground. In search of some form of foreground I took a turn in to one of the roads leading in to the reservation just to find what I wanted.

Ipomoea indica, commonly known as Blue Morning Glory, is a climbing perennial plant in the family Convolvulaceae. Native to tropical and subtropical regions, it is known for its vibrant blue to purple flowers. It thrives in seasonally dry tropical climates and can grow vigorously, often covering large areas if not controlled.

A wild horse in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, another one here from the archive, 2019. I love this national park. Another example of our best idea. The horses are very skittish. My thanks to whatever drew its attention so I didn't spook it and could get this shot.
