Wild Cherry, an ice cream and frozen yogurt shop, on Beach Street in Boston's Chinatown. Now closed.
I love these wild roses. This is a shot using a 60mm macro lens to show the center of the flower. Just enough focus to see the detail of the center and much of the rest of the flower.
The countryside in north Alabama is filled with white blossoms. Bradford Pear trees had to be cut from the median of one highway in our town due to their obstructing views of traffic. However, the town is filled with what I think are these wild pear blossoms. This photograph was taken just beyond our backyard fence. Morgan County, Alabama - 2018
Terry Andrae Park is such a lovely setting to see and interact with wild deer in a natural setting. They are protected here and feel quite safe and comfortable around park visitors like me...
Wild hawk with a fresh kill.
** On Explore May 14, 2009 highest position#50. Thank you my friends! **
On my way to work this morning, I saw this huge 'thing' on the front yard of a house. I couldn't believe what I saw. Even though I was running late for work, I made a U-turn and slowly approach the garden. I didn't want to scare the bird so I took this shot from inside my car. I was probably no more than 10 feet away from this magnificent bird of prey. Needless to say, it made my day! ;))

British actor Michael Wilding (1912-1979) worked steadily in British films for nearly three decades. Though never a star of the first rank, he had leading roles in numerous films, including several films in which he co-starred with Anna Neagle. Wilding moved to Hollywood and was featured in two Hitchcock films, Under Capricorn (1949) and Stage Fright (1950).
wild rain falls all day and night, the chilling wind howls and the loud thunder roars - this is my welcome to Van Diemen's Land
"7 Days of Shooting" "Week #19 - Fences and Railings" "Thoroughly Abstract Thursday"
a shot of the rain on the rail with my red coat reflection - used a wave filter in PSE10 and a bit of a light touch up
Sun was breaking through very humid air and the wind was blowing, a difficult shot. It resulted in some weird aspects: fat flares and a reflection of the camera's eyes in the flare, or fog. My first shot with the A54.

The pollination by wild bees and bumble bees is already in March a, usually so some time before fertilization by honeybees. They thereby takes place in cold and overcast skies. So are these insects in the garden as well as now in commercial fruit-growing (a copy dusted up to 5.000 flowers per day) to the desired beneficial organisms.

Or asters. I'm no expert. Most of the wildflowers are gone from the Tahoe Basin, but a few are still there, including a good sprinkling of fleabanes.

“Wild woman are an unexplainable spark of life. They ooze freedom and seek awareness, they belong to nobody but themselves yet give a piece of who they are to everyone they meet.
If you have met one, hold on to her, she'll allow you into her chaos but she'll also show you her magic.”
