The butterfly is an Ella's Bar - Dowweband-streepvlerkie (Cigaritis ella)
A wild flower seed mix given me by my sister-in-law. I really like the results and next year I will plant more wild flowers. West Coast Seeds in Delta BC has a good selection of mixes.
Wild Blackberries (Rubus fruticosus aggregate).
Commonly known as bramble fruit, in various stages of ripening. The berries transition from green to bright red when unripe, turning a deep, glossy dark purple or black as they fully mature.

Various sources quote this plant's western range as SE Louisiana. This is in the Wichita Mountains, considerably west of there. Also saw Wild Purple Indigo. Our beautiful world, pass it on.

The first wild cyclamens of this year. The photo was taken near Vasiliko mountain and the cyclamens are growing in a hole of a rock, without soil.
A wild rooster in the Botanical Gardens. The photograph was taken after the rooster had been chased by some "wild" children. ^_^
This image of an African wild dog (also known as African hunting dog or African painted dog) (Lycaon rictus) was captured in the wild in the Kruger National Park.
(It is a bit wet as it had a bit of a cool down in the river as it had a drink.)
(We were fortunate enough to encounter the same pack of about 12 - six adults and six or more pups - on two consecutive days. So, bear with me, there are more to come!)
