The Hot Steep Malt Sensory Method is
"the first published ASBC sensory method used to prepare samples to evaluate raw material flavor. Beyond processing considerations, the most important character of a malt is its flavor. However, there has previously not been a repeatable or relevant method for creating worts for sensory analysis to determine a malts possible contribution to wort and beer flavor for all malt types. This opens up a whole new world to brewers who will now have an easy, affordable method of determining the extractable flavors from malt that will influence the flavor of their finished beer."

I went for the album rather than the song!
This book is a hard cover book covered with a very beautiful Asian paper stock. The cover is then lined with a Japanese character design paper. The text block is made of recycled brown paper bags, used envelopes, white graph paper, tracing paper, yellow lined paper, blue, yellow and red paper, and white lined paper. This book has 188 pages/surfaces to write/draw/whatever on. the text block is stitched onto the hard cover using a long stitch bind using black Irish linen thread. The book measures 6" wide x 4" tall and is 1 1/4" wide at the spine.
Reusing two black book boards, I covered the inside of them with paper with a great koi design on it. I used yellow, white, hot pink and tracing paper to create the signatures. I I also used recycled envelopes with security printing on one side and handmade indian paper with some silkscreened images on them, in the signature block. I wrapped the end of the signature block with red paper with gold printed Chinese coins. The book has 128 pages with 256 surfaces to write and draw on. I then used high quality irish linen thread to bind the signatures to the boards and each other.

A 3D paper sculpture made of white paper and cardstock. It is about 8 inches x 11 inches x 3 inches. We use to have a few banana plants in our backyard. I loved to hide amount them, their big leaves protected me from the sun and the rain.
