Since I never expected EarMarxist Rick Santorum to race neck-and-neck with front-runner Mitt 'RINO' Romney, my satire was inspired by Rick Santorum's surprising second place finish in the Corn Caucus. Apparently, Iowans vote on a Politicians' Rhetoric not their Record…

On Nov. 29, 1994, Rick Santorum voted Yea on the Uruguay Round Agreements Act, HR 5110. Congress approved "Fast Track" consideration of the UR Agreements to give high priority to United States' membership in the WTO.

The U.S. Constitution entrusts tariff policies solely to Congress until the Uruguay Round of General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) transferred that American Sovereignty to the World Trade Organization (WTO) on January 1, 1995.

The WTO determines the rules for trade policies of 157 member nations.

"I agree ... this is very close to Maastrict [the European Union treaty by which the EU member nations have surrendered considerable sovereignty], and twenty years from now we will look back on this as a very important defining moment. This is not just another trade agreement. This is adopting something which twice, once in the 1940s and once in the 1950s, the U.S. Congress rejected. I am not even saying we should reject it; I, in fact, lean toward it. But I think we have to be very careful, because it is a very big transfer of power."

—Newt Gingrich, House Ways and Means Committee hearings during June 1994

Since the establishment of NAFTA and the WTO, the U.S. trade deficit increased exponentially from $98.5 billion to $753 billion in 2006. The U.S. trade deficit has exploded since the establishment of Congressional Fast Track for approving the trade agreements. The price (hidden tax?) Americans pay so that elite politicians can satisfy their lust for an interdependent Global community of nations.

Six weeks after the September 11 attacks, Congress passed the Patriot Act. On Oct 25, 2001, Sen. Rick Santorum voted yea on the USA Patriot Act of 2001, HR 3162. The Patriot Act violates our Fourth Amendment (government cannot conduct a search without obtaining a warrant) and our First Amendment Rights. The Patriot Act authorizes federal agents to write their own search warrants called “national security letters” (NSL) without any evidence examined by a judge. Ironically, 225 years ago Americans revolted against the British monarchy who authorized its soldiers to execute self-written search warrants called “writs of assistance.”

In addition, the Patriot Act makes it a felony for the recipient of a self-written search warrant to reveal it to anyone. Apparently, Lawyer Rick Santorum has no issue with violating the First Amendment’s “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech.” The Constitution was written to keep the government from violating our natural rights and the Constitution is a Legal document not a living document which implies future Congresses can change Constitution to suit their needs. All Lawyers and all Americans should know that An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation as inoperative as though it had never been passed.

-- Norton v Shelby County, 118 US 425, p, 442

According to the Club For Growth, Former Senator Rick Santorum said “I’m not saying necessarily earmarks are bad. I have had a lot of earmarks. In fact, I’m very proud of all the earmarks I’ve put in bills. I’ll defend earmarks" in 2009. Senator Santorum’s career was during the heyday of Big Government conservatism, an oxymoron for Liberal Progressive spending since Santorum requested billions of dollars for pork projects in Pennsylvania while he was in Congress.

"In the 2003-2004 session of Congress, Santorum sponsored or cosponsored 51 bills to increase spending, and failed to sponsor or co-sponsor even one spending cut proposal. In his last Congress (2005-2006), he had one of the biggest spending agendas of any Republican -- sponsoring more spending increases than Republicans Lisa Murkowski, Lincoln Chafee and Thad Cochran or Democrats Herb Kohl, Evan Bayh and Ron Wyden.

Santorum also supported raising congressional pay at least three times, in 2001, 2002, and 2003." - read more of Santorums' record at 2012 Presidential White Paper #4 on Rick Santorum

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a government watchdog group, named Santorum among the "most corrupt" Senators by noting Rick's "misuse of his legislative position in exchange for contributions to his political action committee and his re-election campaign."

According to Newsmax, Santorum was involved in "the K Street Project" scandal which contributed to Rick's "crushing 18-percentage-point defeat in his 2006 re-election bid.

Get students outside, in touch with the environment. That's one of the key recommendations from students who want climate change education infused into the curriculum, is to get students out in nature more often learning about real world problems and how to solve them. I recently ditched all my CD jewel cases and this also left me with some of these paper CD cases that I could reuse as cover for books. I connected the cover and back cover of the CD with black tape and lined the cover with decorative paper with musical notes. The signatures are made up of red, yellow, white, pink and blue bond paper and with graph paper and recycled brown paper bags as well. The book has 128 pages or 256 surfaces to write or draw on. The book measures 5.5" W x 4.75" H. The books small size allows it to be carried anywhere for note taking, journaling or sketching.
