When nature's beautiful creature came to visit our home I didn't miss the chance to take photos! Old shot, old memory of our previous home.
When traveling around the Kebler Pass area for the fall aspen show, I spied this location and returned for sunset and waited for the very moment when the last kiss of light was on the peaks of the Raggeds Wilderness Area as seen in the background here. What a gorgeous night!
When the flock of Lapwings went up so did the Golden Plovers. These birds were a very long way off and were just a small section of a photo I took of the lapwings. One thing I noticed was that these Golden Plovers flocked higher than the Lapwings.
... it gets super saturated too! One of the delights of the season, IMO.

I was "commissioned" to capture young Dudley by a friend (his human). Not so easy when he is rarely not in motion, or sat here staring directly into the sun so it looks like he’s got cataracts. (He hasn’t). Still, the friend is happy...

It was about an hour after closing and most of the other visitors had gone home, so when he heard me Wilhelm probably thought I was one of the keepers about to serve him dinner. Excited, he walked briskly towards where I was standing but stopped dead in his tracks when he realised I was not one of the staff.
... and it is totally miserable outside means that I can't get out and about to do much but then I enjoy sitting back and reading my current thriller with a smiley cup of coffee and "maybe" just a little chocolate cake!!
