Welds suck to grind, so I left this one and went through a fair amount of trouble to make it look nice. Frame-builder humor.

This was a fun day of welding. I had to stand on a chair and seam weld the corners, Then Mitzi would rotate the work for me and I would do the other side. we could make some great progress then the welder would shut down from getting too hot. One draw back to having an air cooled torch.

Area high school students competed in the inaugural Carl Sandburg College Welding Competition held May 18 in Building G at the Main Campus in Galesburg. Teams from Galesburg, ROWVA, United, Monmouth-Roseville and Galva competed in the event.
