Downtown indianapolis saw these workers and my buddy wanted me to take a shot because he liked the sparks glowing...turned out rather good
BB / Chainstay Weld detail. Chainstays are 16.75" with room for 3" tires. And that's a 68mm bottom bracket to boot!
So this is the first welding project we had in the welding class, all done with the Oxy/Acetylene Torch. It's kind of silly but I like it. It does a good job showing how metal can have minimal connection and great strength. I've got it out in the yard gathering rust... and today... a few snow flakes!
