Glad I had my camera with me today for the orange sunrise. They were welding more structured steel out back of the facility so I decided to try to get a shot with sparks...it worked. :)

I moved the propane bracket forward and added a bracket to hold the two 6 volt batteries. The front A frame of my boler has already been extended by a foot so this might not work on other bolers. I also welded on a new jack as the old one was finished.

I've been cutting this square tubing into pieces and then butt welding it back together, just for the experience of laying some weld beads and trying different amperages and techniques.
Some not so good welds, and some even worse. Looong way to go.
oh brother, compared to Hobart brand wire, this new roll of the "same" type from Lincoln wire spatters like mad! I'm not buying any more of this Lincoln crap.
