The last submission for Color Your Week project journing LOTS and LOTS stuff happened in last week 16-22 Feb. A week full of boxes, flowers, tears and laughing. Packing days before the big moving, teaching, opening of exhibition ... thousands of memories was recorded in this little small cards from Midori's Traveler's Notebook.
After watching last week's video I decided to try some stuff I have never done:
* use objects as a subject matter (OK it became a character with the objects... but I tried)
* plan ahead (I sketched ideas and traced on pencil before painting)
* use flat color (this was the hardest part, there are so many coats of paint here! Colors changed a little while caring for the lines, specially the blue half of the book, it wasn't that blue when I first mixed the color.
* Each color I had to mix 3 or 4 times so one of the big lessons was: prepare more color before you start!
* I would love pushing commentaries, thank you!
I have never been able to solve one of these...have you???? I like to think its just that I dont have the time to master it...I'm very busy right?? :)
San Francisco Fleet Week 2016 finished with a bang on Sunday, with another spectacular airshow, featuring (among others) the Bretling Jet Team, The Patriots, and the Blue Angels, who were competing to see who could get the most "wow" moments with the crowd!

The Friendship Week Bundeswehr camp participants were able to explore a private castle situated in the Hammelburg training grounds. Individuals dressed in medieval clothing gave the campers a brief history of the period. The children were also able to explore the castle and climb a tower to get an even better view of the castle ruins.
