If you smile at Olive these days, she'll likely stick her tongue out at you. It's pretty stinkin' cute. She's also taken to sucking on her lower lip which puffs out her cheeks like a chipmunk. This week, she's finally found a food that she does not like: yogurt. We tried two different kinds and each time she'll politely accept the spoon but then look away with the saddest little face. She still struggles with putting herself to sleep. On most nights, there are many tears. She doesn't like to fall asleep in your arms and then be put down though, so we're kind of stuck on this one. Once she's asleep, she goes back to sleep like a champ and plays on her own in her curb for almost 30 minutes in the morning.
Thanks to Nancy B. for the great images to work with. I don't have any markers so I did this with a paintbrush and looks kind of messy. Does anyone have any suggestions on good markers?
This week was bath time!
I'm getting more used to manual focusing, but now Charlie is crawling trying to lock-on before he starts moving can be frustrating.

38 weeks pregnant at my baby shower- record breaking temps of 102 in April, I now know what it feels like to be a swollen pregnant lady in the summer..... thankfully the swollen face and over stuffed sausage feet were heat induced and only lasted the 4 day heat wave!

So was thinking to do a splitzer for my Diana F+, and came up with a solution from unused lens adapter ring that also fits my Nikon. Came in pretty handy for experimenting before shooting on film.
The stitching is done directly in the camera, and later edited in Lightroom

The Middle and Upper Schools celebrated Spirit Week 2014 with special themed dress-up days: America Monday, Tacky Tourist Tuesday, Westminster Wednesday, Dress-Alike Thursday and Flashback Friday.
This weekend scholars took part in "Get Your Feet Wet," a single class that allows them to try out a subject they have little experience in. Topics they could choose from included Sushi Making, Shibori Tie-Dye, and Oreo Stacking.
Another week something-or-other, this was the day before Memorial Day, I'll figure out the actual number tomorrow.
Now the only week I still have to fill in is week twenty.

Bring out the big tent – the circus is in town! Boys & Girls Nite Out is the annual highlight of Boys & Girls Club Week. The Club was transformed into a carnival with food and games like “Chicken in the Pot” and “Ring Toss” where hundreds of Club members (and the volunteers they're paired with) win prizes! Performers from Circus Circus Reno joined in the fun with their world-famous stage show.
