Inspired by Amy Butler's Weekender bag.

With its arch nemesis, the Brother CS100.

52/2011 Week 9 (yeah yeah I am running late)

I went 4WDing with a joint Flickr / AP meet up.

We had THE BEST day !!

I took this photo along the "smooth" road lol

I actually had my camera stuck out the window as we were driving along the road (no I wasn't driving)

I reckon I could handle it out here ..

And the sweetest little zipper pull.

I'm stuck now, can't go any further until my hardware arrives.

Amy Butler's pattern Weekender Travel Bag, made with Melody Miller prints, Essex cotton linen & DS Quilts houdstooth print in grey for handles & piping.

View of Weekender Bag from the side. Stuffed a quilt in there to make the shape look nice.

Keeping in line with my first Amy Butler Weekender, I had to include a picture of my adorable Trinity with the bag.

... one of the three projects from me in stitch magazine, issue fall 2013.

The bag even made it onto the cover! Yay!!!

I'm so very happy!!!

Ok I have these fabrics for the Weekender and I can't decide on which one to use what do you think? Also need to decide on the cording color I was thinking of a solid.

Only 2 of them do I have enough fabric if I wanted to start making it and try to get it done for Sewing Summit.

100% cotton, upper and lower leather. Very sturdy, also use as a diaper bag, beach bag.

Our new non-photographic bag for a weekend away...

Ok so I know we have seen the yellow chevron in this pattern already but to be honest I do love it!

Honestly these 2 fabrics are ME so now it is just deciding which one for the bag!

Side one! The color on my bag make me smile every time I look at them!!
