Once the foam was added, a fiberglass lining was added.

My tribute to the Soup Dweller, here joined by some vicious looking limes.

Inside the seats will be a live well/ice chest. They are lined with 1 inch foam.

Here are the seats all framed in.

June 7, 2007 - Red's Betty Steering is installed...

Here is the rudder.. It was easier than I thought it would be to shape this.. The sureform shaper is a really cool tool.

First sail! the boat is trucking right along in light winds.

I was worried that maing the rounded area ta the top of the mast would be difficult but it ended up being pretty easy. I used the tools in the photo to help me make the masttop a 2-1/2" rounded area. The jigsaw was used to roug it out, even holding it at odd angles to sort of CARVE hard areas to work on. The scrap plywood with the hole in it was used to check my progress and the belt sander did the fine tuning work

June 7, 2007 - The paintjob looks pretty nice.... from a distance.

The parts of the keel in the driveway before gluing.

Arum lilie enjoys space around bed.

A happy captain on his first sail

The rub rails were added next.

The humble beginings of the boat project. The stringers are on the left and the keel is being lofted onto a long spruce plank. Work began on the boat on Jan 13, 2005

Made for my daughter as a Christmas present.

I bought my boats name lettering from doityourselflettering.com and I'm extreemly happy with it!! Highly reccomended. Installed in minutes.

Go on Michael, give it another go, gurgity burgity

The boat's bottom is screwed down onto the keel.

Here is a photo of my mast now.. It's almost complete. I've still got some more rounding to do near the top of the mast but the very top is complete and waiting paitently for the mast-band to arrive so we can get the boat inspected. You can see the relative octagon shape of the mast... this is being rounded so that the entire mast will be round down to just above the mast hinge. In this photo you can also see the painted mast-stub.. and the painted boom and gaff.

Here is the boat with the cabin top beginings. At this point it's April 9, 2005.

The hull sides went on without too much trouble.

And here is the boat at the 3-D stage with all the internal bulkheads, the top deck, transom and bottom.

She is really quite blushy and cute.

Her hair needs a MAJOR Spa day and I think she is destine for a haircut.

Thankfully her bangs are quite nice.

her body is SUPER floppy :( and her Undies Suck as per New Usual.

But everything else is super cute, Im pleased I preordered her :D

Another macro found on 4chan

By now it's March 30th and i'm begining work on the seats.

A battery shelf was made to allow two large marine batteries to fit in the front bulkhead at the base of the mast.
