Underseat steering has been a weakness for bikes@vienna for the past several years. We sold Visions for five years and when Vision went out of business we didn't come up with a replacement. We are pleased to announce that in May we will have the Slipstream and Eliminator from Longbikes in the store for test rides and for sale.
There is happiness in Arlington these days. Geoff Steele has lobbied for bikes@vienna to carry Longbikes for years. Someone would come in to test recumbents and if Geoff was at the store he'd have them on his Vanguard which was daddy of the Slipstream. I'd point out to Geoff that I did not have a comparable underseat steering recumbent to sell the customer. Geoff would point out that I should.
Soooooo Geoff.........coming to bikes@vienna --- Longbikes!
Knowing the weakness of old nylon, I cut a piece of fusible interfacing (a great mending tool to keep around) larger than the tear. This will give my needle and thread something to bite into. If I didn't do this my stitches would more likely than not tear out pretty quickly.
We are lucky enough to have two Michael's options within a short distance when a custard attack strikes. I am still learning the strengths and weaknesses of the LX3 and its sweet little 24mm lens.

She had seen me. Or maybe not. One way or the other it was too late for weakness, logic and moral. I knew this. The clinically white surfaces and the repetitive flickering of the omnipresent electrical installations had triggered a savage urge deep within me. Of course the beer and Pernod had done their part as well. The Spanish-looking woman was getting nearer by the second, while quietly sweeping the marbled floor – I felt the fears of Stansted relived. Leaping towards her I screamed in an unfamiliar tone:
“What are you doing hiding in the bushes, you crook-like creature!?”
Her panic from the chock was understandable; profound even. Perspiration ran down my forehead, and I felt sick. The rest of De Gaulle Airport was still sleeping.

A hernia is a weakness or opening in the abdominal wall, that often results in bulging out of fat or an organ such as the intestine, which then occupies space under the skin. The hole in the intestinal wall into which the fat or glands swell is called the Hernia defect. It is found in both sexes, can occur at any age and sometimes babies may be born with it.
Surgery for hernia is one of the most commonly performed operations worldwide with millions of cases being treated every year.

I actually have this unexplainable weakness for all things Kirby. There's just something so pure and innocent about his design, and truthfully, unless you screw it up royally, it's pretty hard to get a bad Character Good of the guy.
A few years back, the Nendoroid line introduced Kirby into it's lineup. There's been several releases in the line, including at least 3 different Kirby, a special Kirby with his Robobattle suit, a Waddle Dee, a Metaknight, and a King Dedede.
I've got maybe half of these, with the Robobattle set being the highlight.
So for the 30th Anniversary of the franchise, there was a special Nendoroid release of the base Kirtby with a special base, and different faces/accessories. Technically the Star Wand has made an appearance in the first set, but this one is coated with glitter, so there!
Like pretty much all other Nendoroids, Kirby requires his base to stand and pose. What makes this line of Nendoroids unique is that the body is basically one giant metal shell, and the limbs are magnets. So basically you can pose the arms and feet anywhere you want on the body. Like with the Windwaker Link, it was like the Nendoroid line was created just so a product like this could exist.. everything just works out so well.
Of the new expressions, it's hard to pick an absolute favourite, though it is nice admittedly nice to finally get a classic Kirby face into the mix. But in terms of sheer comedic value, you gotta give it to the the surprised face. It's really odd that this Kirby dfidn't come with an inhaling face, but I guess if they did that they wouldn't have included the dizzy face, or they'd have had to increase the price. Understandable, but unfortunate you'd have to own the first release to get that face when this is a special anniversary set.
The weaknesses of trial by jury, the rights and wrongs of large benefits payments, the reported exodus of white Brits from London and the government's sale of 4G mobile phone licenses were all discussed as BBC Question Time came to St Paul's.
This illustration was created in the process of working on the book “Look into me now”, but it is not a part of it. The smoke from the cigarette is translated into the river running down from the mountain. It’s always a mystery who will win the fight: human nature or human weakness.

No matter how great a personality you have, how many supposedly innate strengths you possess, how much money you got, how beautiful or handsome you are, how brilliant you are or how you have succeeded in the past – none of these things matter on their own.
In my speaking session of human transformation, many participants are naturally obsessed with strength.
The favorite myth that we should focus on using mainly our strengths and focus less on working on our weakness, unfortunately, does not answer many grey areas.
The truth is, people are afraid of their weakness because facing our weakness undermine our confidence and we are not sure about handling the hard truth. But what lies behind that hard truth will help to strengthen, if not, reveal certain powerful qualities hidden from us.
Here are three new mind-shifting perspectives of how we can look at weakness directing us in the direction of revealing more of our strengths.
Weakness reveals the power needed to build strength.
Using our body wellness as an example, for our body to absorb calcium efficiently to build healthy bones and teeth, we need a vital ingredient call Vitamin D.
When the two-power combined, magic happens. But the lack of either one of them means any more intake of calcium or vitamin D would not work.
Recognising our weakness is revealing the missing ingredients needed to build our current strength and discover new ones.
If I am poor in following through in a long-term project, by recognizing that weakness, I can consciously create a system around it. For example, breaking a long-term plan into a smaller chunk of milestones so that it is manageable.
Do not ignore it because it will always come back to haunt you.
Weakness reveal the clues to a new system
When weakness surface, it is telling us there is a missing equation. Something need to happen before something happen is what I have always shared with the participant.
Build a new system through your weakness because it will help you to maneuver through the gap with relative ease in the future. By going through it, you discover the new answer in the weakness itself.
If I am weak in expressing myself during presentation or sharing, what I can do is to create a system of physically writing down three key points and no more.
To reinforce that, verbally rehearse the three points before the presentation, and repeating that pattern over a period will reveal more clues for you to find the right calibration.
Face the weakness head-on and go through it.
Weakness reveals new courage.
If my natural strength is being a “smart” worker, it merely means that while I can find the shorter way to get there, it does not necessarily mean it’s the right way or a decision you have made under an appropriate amount of time and information. As such; we might have made a compromise.
By admitting that I need to roll up my sleeve and get my hand dirty if need be, surface new courage of believing in delivering not just a smart but an equally strong evidence-backed decision.
It is a powerful awareness that will multiply my credibility and influence with others and be known as someone who not only can get there efficiently but effectively too.
Discover the new courage in yourself through your weakness.
In summary, weakness is our hidden strength. Discover by recognizing the missing equation. Face the weakness head on and build a new system around it so that you will be able to reveal the new courage within you and magnify your strengths.

Christmas Flavors in tea and dessert. I actually tend to struggle to eat it all after I buy it, so this year I was *trying* not to buy too much, but I'm not sure I succeeded...

Whenever somebody asks me what's my weakness in photography, I always answer photojournalism. Probably because I don't practice it a lot. But then our finals for DIGIPHO came and it was photojournalism. This photo is my favorite among all my shots. Please give some time and lemme share you his story~
This is Mang Boy. He's a garbage collector that wanders around the area of Pasay City, Philippines. He always gets my attention because of two dogs that always follows him. These two dogs are his and despite of his life status, he decided to adopt those two puppies instead of them being stray dogs. He tries his best to share some of his food to his dogs just to keep them alive but you know what? He told me that even though he sometimes don't feed them very much, these dogs never leave him and continues to follow him.
"They are the reason why I smile. They are the reason why I'm not alone. That's why I love them." - Mang Boy
When we were asked to do photojournalism, I thought the reason why we needed to do this was to expand our photography knowledge. True, but it was more than that. I'm starting to believe that the main reason why we were tasked to do this was to discover other people's story. Stories that are left ignored. Stories that can capture your heart. A story worth capturing by your camera. This is why I love photography.
I finally got my focus, ISO, shutter, aperture, ect to a mostly happy place, and the aurora died. I did get about 30 shots of more faint aurora, some even with some red, another m6 class solar flare is expected to hit tonight about midnight local time, and it looks like there was another m8 flare this afternoon, so I'll be heading out the next few night in search of my perfect shot
haha i had a pretty sucky day at school today! School was great up until the end.
I got a case of "the mean reds." As soon as i got home i attacked
this Dutch Apple Pie. Its so weird that food can make you feel way better about stuff.
Me and Amanda are afraid that this will be the end of us.
It sucks that our metabolisms will only get slower.
I really don't want to be fat!
