I have a weakness for hollyhocks, and Coffee Creek has many!
Driving along to Coffee Creek you see some beautiful views. It is truly located in a lovely setting! Tiny Coffee Creek has one business left, a car repair shop. There is also a post office. Other than that there isn't much too it other than a few houses and a couple abandoned buildings. My favorite part of Coffee Creek is it's name!
"Coffee Creek was named for the creek with water a dark, coffee-brown color. In early days this was a favorite stopping place for cowboys riding the open ranges around it. The town itself began as a station of the Milwaukee Road. Two grain elevators and an International Harvester farm machinery store indicate this is now grain, rather than range country. The FZ50 shows its weakness at higher ISOs, though in a 'better than nothing' scenario I'd be well happy with this shot. No doubt though that my new FZ1000 is a tad better!

my weakness has always been dark chocolate-- the darker the better and with a little sea salt, oh mY! but as of late these dang corn chips have been calling me, tempting me with their crispy, golden, lightly salted goodness. just give 'em too me plain....straight up. there is just something about the crunch that is completely satisfying.

This wall in the village of Vank is covered by license plates taken from vehicles left behind by Azerbaijanis who fled the territory. La ultra-nationalistic ideology present in both sides is a major obstacle for finding a lasting peaceful solution to the conflict.

I have a very well known problem with Sonic. And the creation of Happy Hour only made my problem worse. I try really hard to only go twice a week, but I've been really horrible these last few weeks. REALLY HORRIBLE! I'm going to get back on schedule. I need to get back on schedule to do what is best for my body. Gotta really start training for the 1/2 marathon in October!
I've long had a weakness for stained glass so when an opportunity came up to go to the Old Stone Church I took it. I was impressed with the old church building but when I got inside I had to shoot all the stained glass windows. I made a collage of the windows to show them in all their beauty. The middle window was the smallest one and was really showing its age. The face was in terrible shape especially the eyes! So I must admit I photoshopped my neighbors childs face in. I started out to just do the eyes but I was so stunned with how it came out that I just couldn't stop. Hope everyone likes it.
This view is also to the rear of the fortified town. I now overlooks the lighthouse in the background that guides vessels into the well-protected harbor. All of the dwellings have brick of stone chimneys for wood-burning fireplaces. The main buildings had many!

I actually have this unexplainable weakness for all things Kirby. There's just something so pure and innocent about his design, and truthfully, unless you screw it up royally, it's pretty hard to get a bad Character Good of the guy.
A few years back, the Nendoroid line introduced Kirby into it's lineup. There's been several releases in the line, including at least 3 different Kirby, a special Kirby with his Robobattle suit, a Waddle Dee, a Metaknight, and a King Dedede.
I've got maybe half of these, with the Robobattle set being the highlight.
So for the 30th Anniversary of the franchise, there was a special Nendoroid release of the base Kirtby with a special base, and different faces/accessories. Technically the Star Wand has made an appearance in the first set, but this one is coated with glitter, so there!
Like pretty much all other Nendoroids, Kirby requires his base to stand and pose. What makes this line of Nendoroids unique is that the body is basically one giant metal shell, and the limbs are magnets. So basically you can pose the arms and feet anywhere you want on the body. Like with the Windwaker Link, it was like the Nendoroid line was created just so a product like this could exist.. everything just works out so well.
Of the new expressions, it's hard to pick an absolute favourite, though it is nice admittedly nice to finally get a classic Kirby face into the mix. But in terms of sheer comedic value, you gotta give it to the the surprised face. It's really odd that this Kirby dfidn't come with an inhaling face, but I guess if they did that they wouldn't have included the dizzy face, or they'd have had to increase the price. Understandable, but unfortunate you'd have to own the first release to get that face when this is a special anniversary set.
